My biggest regret is stepping foot into this office. I made an appointment for my 6 year old daughter for a typical consultation/cleaning. Don’t let the nice office and fake employees fool you. They will scare you into thinking there are all these things wrong with your child’s teeth, convincing you your young child needs braces and cosmetic surgery for their financial gain.

Lesson Learned: ALWAYS get a second opinion & read reviews prior to going somewhere.. as there are many similar situations I have read.

Stay clear from Marisol, she involuntarily signed me up for a loan without my knowledge- used the information on the intake form plus asked my social security # and birthdate to fill out a loan application, on my behalf. Come to find out she lied on the loan application, saying I make over $90,000 a year in order to get approved and put me into a situation that I am unable to get out of. She completely manipulated me, as a single mom.

My daughter has a complex heart condition. I left the office with a Medical Clearance Form. After providing the form to my daughter’s cardiologist, he informed me that I cannot work with this office since the dentist, Dr. Shalini Shah, does not have privileges to work at CHOC. My daughter needs to have dental work done in a hospital setting, in case any complications arise.

Originally, they were refusing to cancel the $1,500 loan they fraudulently and illegally signed me up for. They are now claiming I owe $500, when my daughter has not and will not be getting any work done.

As stated by my child’s cardiologist in a letter to the office(that was ignored): “Any payment made toward any planned or scheduled procedure should be refunded because it is contraindicated and has been made without full understanding of the risk involved to the child.” They do not care about your child’s health or wellbeing.

Dr. Shalini Shah has been nonexistent, unresponsive and negligent. Her employees are liars and unprofessional. They are completing FRAUD and simply thinking they can get away with it. This is complete MALPRACTICE, they should lose their license for scamming people. She should be ashamed of the way she is running her business and stealing money from patients.

I advise any families considering this ‘dental practice’ to stay clear, and if you are already involved with them.. I would rethink your decision.

I've been going to this Dentist Office a little under 10 years now. The staff, dental assistants, hygienists, dentists and orthodontist are super friendly and accommodating. I also think they do thorough and excellent work! Moreover, they'll tell you what you should prioritize, work with you with your insurance, give you different options for payment plans, and will stay late to accommodate your work schedule! Only thing is that it's a bit far away from me as I no longer work or live in Orange County but I'm willing to drive just because of the positive experience. Oh, and it's called a A Kids Dentist but they also see adults.

She will put braces on your child when they don't need them! She is only in it for the money! After drilling a hole in my special needs son tooth and wasn't able to finish his filling because he had a panic attack. She decided to charge me full price even though nothing was completed. She said that she could not charge my insurance because the job wasn't finished but had no problem charging me for incomplete work. Do your children and yourself a favor and go nowhere near this woman! She also sent my sister to collections for Phase 2 braces that were never put on my nephew! I feel sorry for the employees because it's clear they're having to carry her and make excuses for her.

WARNING !! Bumped my nephews appointment (that we scheduled two months prior with a $500 deposit) stating that the appointment was not actually saved and not actually guaranteed. One receptionist called requesting another $2000 for a deposit. Received another call from a different receptionist for $1500. They claimed that our insurance didn’t cover the anesthesiologist so that’s why. We called insurance and they did approve. Super shady money hungry dental office. We ended up canceling completely due to all this frustration and now we won’t be receiving the $500 back. Going to fight it. Terrible terrible company. I would not suggest any major dental work from here. Unprofessional all around. DO NOT GO.

I visited the office for the first time and fell in love with the chic decor and fun movies playing. The office staff made me feel comfortable as I waited for my appointment time. I usually do not enjoy getting my teeth cleaned less alone going to the dentist. However, Jasmine was very friendly and gentle with my teeth, but left me with a clean feeling in my mouth. I really enjoyed talking with and how quick and thorough she was. Now I don't fear getting my teeth cleaned. I was also very pleased when I got my wisdom teeth removed. I had minimum swelling and pain the following days and the whole procedure was over in 10 minutes. I highly recommend A Kids Dentist !!!!!!

A frauds dentist! This has to be the worst service known to mankind the office itself is fine the staff is horrible. Not only did they keep my 300 dollar deposit after telling me the wrong information. But calling and asking any questions is impossible for them. Not only will you be on hold for 10-30 minutes for every single question but none of the staff is on the same page. If you would like to receive horrible service this is the place you’ll wanna go. Probably has a lot to do with my nationality if I’m being perfectly honest. All you will receive is sarcasm and horrible customer service. My daughter is supposed to get her cavities filled but now I’m really not comfortable using this specific office. The dentist herself seemed just bothered with my questions and let a front office rep take over my Questions. Which only led to further confusion.

I have to start off by saying my 10 year old daughter does not like to cooperate for the dentist, and was refused service at our last dental office. Dr. Shah was so patient with my daughter, and managed to make her feel comfotable enough to complete the work she needed done. Not only is Dr. Shah amazing and patient her staff are amazing too. They really know how to make their patients feel at home, and you do not find that very often. We are so thankful for all of them.

Took my son there for the first time yesterday. He's 5 years old. The entire staff was amazing. They were all so friendly and knowledgeable. It's a great place to take your child. Titus had never been to the dentist before, and he actually wants to go back! Everyone made both my son and I comfortable. They have all kinds of things for kids to do in the waiting area, and a wall of movies for kids to watch while they are having their teeth cleaned. So so happy we found this place.
