I gave this company two tries.
The first time I went there they took over a month to schedule an appointment for a filling. I called and asked why I haven’t been called to schedule an appointment and they said it wasn’t approved through my insurance yet. I got so frustrated so I called my insurance company and found out that I was approved 3 days later. They argued with me and said that they did not get an approval yet. So I provided the confirmation approval number and they still argue that they didn’t get no confirmation. I let it go and let them fill in my tooth a 1month and 1weeks later. A couple months later that tooth filling came out. On January 10th 2025 I went in and they told me I would have to wait again for an approval to fill in the tooth. I noticed it was going on three weeks again so I took it upon myself to call my insurance again. Turns out it was approved the NEXT DAY on January 11th. I explained to my insurance what was going on and she said would you like me to three-way them and let them know that your approval was approved. And let me tell you how awkward that’s conversation was. The Asend receptionist kept saying they didn’t receive the approval and my insurance kept telling her we approved it the next day! This is the second time this has happened and it was only for a tiny filling. Like seriously I feel bad for people who are in serious pain and have to wait for an (approval) that has been already approved. They are slackers and I don’t appreciate that. Unless you wanna wait for over a month to get your teeth worked on I highly suggest you don’t go there! I also attached when I called to see if it was approved(they told me no)and my phone call with Denti-Cal.

I love this dentist office I always bring my boys here they have a lot of patience and they are on top of their approvals it took a week & was able to get in a few days later.

I love this place. I didnt know it was here. Its kind of hidden, but its right next to the Church on Moffitt and Hatch Rd in Ceres/Modesto. They are so professional, helpful and friendly. Today is my 2nd appointment, and I have a real fear of Dr's, but they do what they can to make you feel more comfortable. I brought a light fuzzy blanket, and they gave me stress balls, and they will also hold your hand. Dr will keep asking if you "feeling ok" which is great. They also have a great calming look, feel and scent, complete with a miniature waterfall. I do know they accept MediCal/DentalCal and other insurances. Look at your MediCare Advantage, and other private dental insurance you may have. If they have, and still are, getting me over my fear of dentist, they have become number 1 in my book, and hopefully your too. Their offices are State of the art, and they got 2 cavities done in under 30 minutes, no problem, because they ease my anxiety and fear. I was shocked on my first appt they took care of a few cavities then. Most dentist won't, and will male you come back, so they can charge insurance more money, at Ascend you the patient get put first. Call them

They used this machine on me without protective bib and my infant inches away from me. Today they used hand held xray gun at least and i had to request a bib and my daughter to be put on other side of the wall. They should of known better they are Dr and nurses.... Very UNPROFESSIONAL and they dr wouldnt do nothing for me today because i couldnt buy his nightgaurd

This is a wonderful dental office! Today was my first visit and was very pleased! Coming from numerous horrible experiences with Western Dental, this was a way better experience! The staff was so friendly and helpful and the male doctor was very nice. He asked throughout my exam and cleaning if I was ok making sure he wasn’t hurting me. I got in right away there was no wait and no one in the waiting room which shows they don’t just have you sitting around. They didn’t treat me any differently with having medi-cal dental insurance (because other offices do!) I would recommend this office to all family and friends!

Originally I felt like this practice was top notch. The staff is very welcoming and the office is clean. However after a couple visits I started questioning their practice which was confirmed later. I went in and had a few filings and a crown placed. My understanding was that my mouth was "up to code" at this time. My next visit, 6 months later, they told me I had 4 more cavities. I couldn't believe it as just 6 months prior everything was good. They asked for prepayment towards my work, which I obliged but started questioning how this was possible.

I went to another office afterwards and was told that everything was fine and there was no work needed and no cavities. This was a few years ago already and still, I have no cavities and need no work.

I have not been back and will not go back. I feel that they fabricate problems to rack up charges. It's unfortunate because I really liked this office and would have continued returning if I felt that they were honest. The reason I gave 2 stars was the cleanliness and the welcoming attitude. Otherwise it would have been zero.
