Best dentist ever!! I had to take my mom for a last minute emergency and Dr Cootes went above and beyond to fit my mom and make sure she had the best care ever. Highly recommend going to Dr Cootes!

110% recommend.

I have severe dental phobia/ anxiety and it causes a gag reflex. Even for x-rays. This is what made me never want to visit a dentist until....now.

I chipped a molar and asked in a community FB group for recommendations for a sedation dentist. Dr. Cootes sent me a message to let me know most if not all insurances do not cover sedation. I gave her my information and she personally looked up my insurance coverage (she is out of network, but routine cleanings are covered 100%).

She sent me up with an appointment to diagnose the molar w/ an x-ray. I couldn't handle the sensors in my mouth so I opted for the panoramic machine.

She took a look and let me know that it was the third molar that was cracked, and recommended that I have all four removed. Unfortunately, she can do any other tooth except the third molar and referred me to an oral surgeon.

Before we concluded our visit with Dr. Cootes, I asked if she can try a dental cleaning, since it has been 5-7 years since my last attempt. She said NO PROBLEM and had a go.

Dude! I had almost no issues with her gentle skills. She used a manual scaling tool instead of ultrasonic and I think that is what helped me. She was very patient and compassionate. I think that is what helped.

I am looking forward to my visits with her in the future.

I am very scared of the dentist and normally hesitant to even get my teeth cleaned. Dr. Cootes, however, made my experience super enjoyable and stress-free! I highly recommend Dr. Cootes for any dental work needed as she was super gentle, and extremely kind throughout the appointment.
