Dr. Mira is great. The 2-stars review is more for the dental hygienists that support her. They vary greatly. If you get stuck with Elizabeth, do yourself a favor and ask to reschedule with someone else.

So far this is the best dental office I have been to. It had been about two years since I had any dental work done. I called the office and left a message letting them know I had some needed work done. They returned my call that same morning and scheduled me that same day. The Dental tech took x-rays and did a fabulous job on cleaning my teeth ( she took her time and was gentle). I had some areas that were a bit sensitive, so I was a bit nervous. She did such a great job and was super careful that I didn’t feel any discomfort. Dr. Mira has always been super caring and takes her time with me. I always leave feeling well cared for. The whole staff is friendly from when first check in to when you check out. Also their office always looks clean and the decor is super modern. I highly recommend this office to my friends and family.

Zen Dental has exceptional reception staff, dental hygenists, and a great dentist too! I am always greeted with a friendly smile from the receptionist Amelia, who is very kind. Dr. Cayco does excellent work and I have got both fillings and crowns done by her. The dental hygenist I had here, is hands down, the best dental hygenist I have ever had. She has awesome tips on how to improve oral health and hygiene. I am so thankful that the Zen Dental team has helped me and are continuing to support me with the dental work I need to get done. Front desk lady was very unwelcoming and condescending, I felt very uncomfortable. She was visibly annoyed whenever I had questions about the treatments. I heard great things about this practice and I am disappointed to see that they do not treat everyone here with the same respect. Besides that they don’t have very clear communication about pricing, I was told a very different price in person than I was told on the phone. Additionally, I was never sent emails regarding necessary paperwork but I was hassled to complete it? Like how can I complete paperwork I’ve never received. Overall what put me off was the treatment recieved by the receptionist, whenever you enter a new space the last thing you need is to feel unwelcomed, do better, everyone deserves to feel respected.

I have let Zen Dental redeem themselves. I think they were suffering due to staffing issues due to Covid. Dr. Mira is very good. The facility is very clean. I had to go back because a filling was tearing all of my floss. It was mostly fixed but the front of my tooth isn’t completely smooth, it has a small ridge. Overall Zen Dental is fantastic but this one filling could be a better quality…I just don’t want to go back a third time for it.

Old review for transparency: “I was frustrated that my medical history was not reviewed before my cleaning when I submitted it months ahead of time. I booked this appointment several months ago. When I arrived to the office I was told that a consultation with my primary care is needed before a cleaning can happen, which could have been arranged before my appointment. I’ve just been trying to get a cleaning here since March and it still hasn’t happened. Disappointed in the organization this clinic has. The doctor should review paperwork and be ready for a patient when they arrive. My time was wasted.”

Zen Dental and it's staff is absolutely incredible! Everyone is friendly, knowledgeable and so helpful. I cannot even count the times I have called with an issue, and they were able to fit me in right away. Dr. Mira is great and such a fun person to see. No matter what, Dr. Mira and her staff are always looking for ways to help with dental needs. If I could give more than 5 stars, I absolutely would!

Tldr: Their dentists are amazing but their billing staff is horrendous.

It deeply saddens me to write this review after I've used Zen Dental for years both before and after the pandemic. They have always provided some of the best dental hygiene service I've had in my life, but their billing department is beyond horrendous.

My fiancee has, for the last year, continually been billed to an old dental plan she no longer uses. We have explained this over half a dozen times, and given them the updated information. Each time we were promised that this would never happen again, and yet it still occurred.

We have been over charged time and time again and it's just not worth the headaches and hoops we have to jump through just for a simple teeth cleaning.

I hope they improve/replace their billing department asap, as I hate to leave such a wonderful staff who treated our family so well all these years.

Dr. Mira and her team are incredible. I've always had a lot of anxiety going to the dentist but over the past three years they have made going to the dentist something I enjoy and take pride in. Their updated office is so clean and gorgeous. The Tv's playing relaxing videos while they work on you is a fun touch, but the heart of Zen Dental, is the staff. Dr Mira is such a kind woman and an amazing doctor. Amelia is a welcoming face and Tracy does such a great job during dental cleanings. When I go its like being welcomed by friends and people that genuinely care about my health. I recommend Zen Dental Care for anyone who is looking for above and beyond dental care.
