So often people suffer great angst when seeing the dentist but Dr. Chan and her staff cause all those fears to dissipate. She and her staff are very kind, promote a calming atmosphere, explain things very well, and are very knowledgeable in their specialty. I was completely impressed and, much to my surprise, very calm for the first time in my life seeing a dentist. Dr. Chan and her staff are a winning team!

I appreciate the friendly welcome from the receptionists. Most important, however, is the professionalism of the hygienist and dentists. They are all great at helping you relax, explain succinctly and clearly what is going on with your teeth and do not push you to do any dental work that is not necessary! I strongly recommend them!!!

I am very happy with my recent appointment. To begin with, I appreciate how my dentist articulated the context of me potentially getting Invisalign to adjust my teeth—along with the option of a deep cleaning. She explained what Invisalign and a deep cleaning would accomplish, the potential impact of not having the procedure, along with an explanation of the need for both procedures. But most importantly, she articulated this information through a thoughtful and nuanced cost versus benefit explanation that I interpreted as not only professional but also helpfully direct. This places me in the situation of feeling like I have reliable information to make an informed choice. While I need to think about Invisalign, and ask a few more questions, my first impression is that I have better reasons to act than not.

I also get the impression that my hygienist took a bit more time and effort while cleaning my teeth. It is not that I am even slightly criticizing my prior cleanings. It just seemed like there was an effort to do a bit more this time around. And as a sommelier that has to deal with the professional hazard of teeth staining, I greatly appreciate it. My teeth seemed appreciably less stained. Given that I’m a sommelier that has to cope with the professional hazard of teeth staining, which places additional burdens on the hygienists, can I pay a bit more for future cleanings to help peel away some staining?

Dr. Chan is the captain of the team and is an incredibly skilled and talented dentist. She will be helping me with additional fillings and crowns as well. Her knowledge and kindness are very impressive. I have complete confidence and trust in her and her team. Her team has shown me a level of professionalism and compassion I have never seen before. They all do and outstanding job. The front office staff is very polite and efficient. They take the time to explain everything and make sure I understand the process. The young dental group functions like a well oiled machine while maintaining a family business feel. I highly recommend the young dental group and all the staff.
