Have been coming to Walnut for years and always a great experience. I recently took my 2 YR & 5YR old daughters to their 1st visit and the staff was amazing. My girls had fun & the cleaning & X-Rays took all of 45 min... I highly recommend Walnut for adults & children....

This place is awesome. Doctors are knowledgeable and have a talent for making your teeth feel like they should. Some dentists I’ve been to are just looking to buy a boat so they’ll sell you the whole shop but the wonderful doctors here have been really helpful in empowering ME to make the most of my own dental health. If I ever have to move states I would fly out to go here. 10/10 can’t recommend them enough. The vibe of the office is immaculate, staff are always nice to me, and they actually fix the problem QUICKLY. I recommend them to everyone. Parking is tight at their location but don’t let that discourage you, it’s worth it.

Our current dentist recently stopped taking Anthem Blue Cross, therefore we worked with Anthem to find a dentist that was covered. We called Dr. Martinez office (Walnut Dentistry) after researching reviews and background to schedule our appointments, the front office confirmed they accepted our insurance. Unfortunatley, we have had three appointments and have not seen Dr. Martinez once. No explanation from anynoe at the office, they just gave us a dentist we had never heard of with no explanation. The most frustrating part is that the other dentist is out of network so now were getting stuck with large bills. Turns out Dr. Martinez works one day a week and is impossible to get an appointment with. Perhaps they should not be marketing themselves as this doctor when they have no intention of actually scheduling you with her. Responding to Martinez's response: No accountability or reasons for switching our dentist when we clearly scheduled the appointment with you. No apologies for the time it took to contact my insurance and your reception to sort out the bills - about 2 hours today. Yes this happened today and still is not financially resolved. I imagine it will take a few weeks. You are in the office today because Tuesdays are the one day a week you are available. Just asking for some transparency and accountability. I'll sit by and wait for this billing mess to hopefully be resolved. Clear lack of concern on your part.

My dentist closed his office and I switched to Walnut Avenue Dentistry. My experience has been wonderful. Everyone there is friendly and professional. And, I really am grateful to the hygienists who appear to be perfectionists with cleaning! The dentists are great and gentle. Have only been there a few times so far but am pleased with their expertise and kindness so far!

Words can't express how bad my experience has been (actually maybe "living nightmare" can). It started with an exam that got rescheduled four times within a 24-hour period. The exam itself went well until the hygienist took over, she lazily grazed the polish across my teeth and quickly bounced around with floss -- this turned out to also be one of the ladies that works the front desk, which brings me to the next topic -- the ladies at the front desk (primarily Rowie and Pam) are the worst front office dental staff I have ever met. The day after my exam, I called to get a copy of my treatment plan. I forgot to ask a question during my first call so I called a second time. Rowie answered the phone "Hi Nick" (I guess she has caller ID), and then continued with "I guess you get to bug me today because I was bugging you yesterday" (referring to the four times she moved my appointment). A week went by and I never got my treatment plan. I asked multiple times via phone, email, and text. I finally got a handwritten copy of my treatment plan, along with two scheduled dates for the services that were needed to be done. After that, I asked for my X-rays because I was considering changing dentists due to the horrible front office staff. The X-rays never came. I asked over and over (they had an old email on file from when I visited the office in 2010), I gave them my new email multiple times but they never updated my record. I FINALLY got an X-ray of ONE tooth a week later. A few more emails and I got the full mouth. I decided to keep my original appointments for the crown work I needed done, planning to switch dentists after the crown work. I never got a call to confirm my appointment, so out of curiosity I called to make sure I was scheduled (today, I've been waiting a month for this appointment). Pam never scheduled the appointments even though she confirmed I was scheduled for 3pm on 2/1 and 2/8. Now I have to start all over with a new dentist. Save yourself the frustration and go somewhere else. Yuck.
