Small, but amazing team! Dr. Lofti is competent and genuine, no nonsense. Alica and Erika are warm, kind, and caring. Process of getting my teeth straighten was simple and straightforward, so when my daughter recently needed braces, it was obvious that we will turn to these awesome people. Love coming to their office even though is not so close to our house. Keep up great work! We appreciate you so much!

Hi my names Brandon caballero I recently got my braces done here at Santa Clara orthodontics with Dr. Lofti it will be a year this December(2024), and I have two things I’d like to say one please makes sure your teeth look the way and feel the way you’d like before stepping out the day of your removal also PLEASE write down important conversation you have with the Dr. The reason I rate my experience at Santa Clara ortho a 1 star is because shorty after I removed my braces I had pain in my back left side molar food would get in between my teeth even though the gap was close keep in mind all my top teeth were straight except my last molar because my ortho was having trouble gluing the bracelet because is was hard to get to so we eventually close the gap but the tooth was crooked, so I had a follow up with my dentist that’s where she told me the pain wasn’t going to go way until I aligned all my teeth properly she even wrote me a referral I took it to my ortho and he said there nothing wrong with it it’s “closed and shouldn’t be a problem” after he check it with a peace of floss. So that was one negative I never got the top left molar aligned obviously they wanted to charge me for them to move it again when I felt it was a poor job even with the dentist referral it didn’t help me. Second issue I had was my cemented retainer came loose the glue didn’t hold up and I mentioned to my ortho that I felt my teeth were moving at one of my follow ups he said nope all good sure enough next time I stop by my two front teeth lower level had shifted that’s where he gave me the options of a (fixed retainer) witch was supposed to help move the two teeth back in place when I asked how much that was gonna cost me he said he’d cover it I was upset they moved so soon I didn’t notice nor did he because I DID mention it to him I’d say the reason that is it’s like a bracket it hangs in place until you move it you be able to see it’s fallen off. Fast word a few appointments I notice the retainer isn’t working and I told him I’d like to fixed my teeth so they can be completely straight the lower level because they shifted and the top because of the diss comfort on the back left molar. The assistant proceeds to give me a quote (lower level 3k)(both top and bottom 5k) which was what I payed out of pocket the first time, this was the price the gave me after I applied my insurance being this time around my dental insurance kicked in I was so upset and angry because I had mentioned it but when they brought out the report of my past appointments he didn’t wright down that we spoke about my teeth shifting, long story short I was going back and forth with the receptionist that got me nowhere so I asked to speak to the Dr these where his exact words “I can’t say yes or no I have a lot of clients I speak to on the daily basis” I got upset and told him how is that I remember talking about it you gave me the retainer and it didn’t work out he said he helped me out with that because “where friends” so I’m telling him it’s to much money and why should I have to pay when there are things we discussed and he said “okay what do you want out of this” I replied “I want my teeth fixed that’s it” he the replies okay “how much do you want to pay” that mad me so mad it made me feel like he just didn’t want to admit to us talking about our my lower level. I told him “what do you mean if I’m a client at fault why are you trying to negotiate with me then”. He gets mad and says “you know what I’m done take the papers out of my hand(the quote)I’m not helping you I refused to work on you I don’t feel comfortable working on you further” and thats how I sent 5k down the drain I’m left with pain in my upper level and fixed retainer I have to continue wearing or else my lower level will shift completely.

Competent, friendly staff. I got my own teeth straightened (Invisalign), and them when my son needed braces Dr. Lotfi's office was the obvious choice. There is no waiting, the office is comfortable, and I always enjoy stopping by for an appt.
