I have a medicine management team that said an in-person group anxiety clinic was available. They said they accepted my insurance. I went to this class for a week and a half and was enjoying it so much.
Then my wife looked online and I was being charged $300 a day. My insurance was not covering the sessions.
I am now on a payment plan for $1600. I did not finish the program, still have the same issues, just down $1600 on top of it.
A real shame they didn’t even try to work with me on the cost. Just not a good thing to do to someone already suffering.
At the end of the day I should have checked insurance before trusting them. But it’s hard to not trust the provider that is already giving you medicine and support.
Life is a real shame

Back in 2018 I suffered a heart attack and was flown in from Scottsbluff NE. The treatment I received was the best! From the Doctors, Nurses and technicians that administered tests was first class top notch. They made it easy to put my life in their hands.

I've been going to this hospital for about 20 years and have only had two primary care doctors this whole time. My doctor knows me and my health history. She is thorough and I feel like she cares about my well being. Beyond the great care my family and I receive, the facility is clean and very nice. I appreciate the artwork throughout the hospital to include photos, paintings, a quilt hung in one of the departments, and even the pictures/stories on the elevator doors. The Pharmacy has friendly service that is usually pretty quick. I visit the gift store almost every time I visit the hospital, they carry a lot of interesting things in there. The Lab has a short wait time every time I've been there and I have the same experience in X-rays. The food is pretty good. Between both cafeterias, there is a wide selection of foods and beverages. I love their sweet potato fries. I received my COVID booster shot during the mass appointments at the auditorium in the Inpatient Pavilion. It was a very efficient operation with the line steadily moving and plenty of staff to help in the process. There is a lot of construction right now to build a parking garage in front of the Outpatient Pavilion and more construction for additional parking in the garage closest to the Inpatient Pavilion. I haven't had problems with parking because build in additional time (as directed in the app and online).

Awesome service from all but one RN. She was so rude. No bedside manner. Laughing that my fam was scrambling to find a hotel cause my surgeon was 8 hours late on my surgery. We live an hour and half from the hospital… wasn’t about to send family home super late and that far. As we’re doing our

The doctors here are great but they need a place with shade for people to park to pick people up. I had my baby in the car and the only place for me to wait to pick up my mom was in direct sunlight which even with the AC on made the inside of my car hot. Some shade would also be good for your Valet workers.

Nurse Peyton on the 8th orthopedic floor was the best! She was very caring, considerate and professional. David also was a great nurse. They took very good care of my husband. Thank you all so much! We absolutely love this hospital!

They messed up my referrals and didn't notify me until two weeks before my scheduled appointment that it had to be canceled. This has delayed my care by several months. I've talked to 4 different schedulers at UCH now and 2 of them were straight up rude to me for no reason (one of them got unreasonably upset when I accidentally read them the wrong number on my insurance card). This really sucks.

Not what it used to be. Just a dodgy big city hospital now, filthy, grimy, important things like the sanitation of the waiting area is completely neglected. Barely keep the bathroom semi clean. Way too much staff turnover, even for a teaching hospital.

But I have gotten good medical care.

Most the workers have good attitudes.
