I began my treatment at Touni Orthodontics in 2021. As an adult with an overbite, the solutions suggested by previous orthodontists always felt intimidating or required surgery. Thankfully, Dr. Touni introduced me to the Maxillary Skeletal Expander (MSE), a technique not commonly used in my home country. With this approach, we successfully corrected my overbite, which brought additional benefits like improved breathing, better chewing, and the complete elimination of my jaw pain.

Although my braces were removed a month ago and I now have a proper, confident smile, I still catch myself smiling the way I used to—with my mouth closed, hiding my teeth. It'll take some time to get used to smiling openly, but the most important outcome of this treatment has been the improvement in my jaw posture and ability to bite and enjoy food properly.

I’m incredibly grateful to Dr. Touni and his kind, supportive staff, who were always patient and accommodating. Scheduling wasn’t always easy for me, but their flexibility made it possible to stay on track with my treatment.

I’m still wearing retainers now, but they’re far less of a hassle compared to eating with the MSE or braces. Thanks to this journey, I’m much more mindful of my oral hygiene and can’t imagine skipping brushing after meals. This experience has truly been life-changing, and I’m beyond thankful.

Tina (member of staff) was very friendly and explained all the steps (Patient Form details, Panoramic XRays, Photos) in clear detail.
