I have been a dental patient of Dr. Tim Mathis for many years and I wanted to take the time to write a review based on my experience this morning. First, let me tell you that I am extremely anxious about dentistry and have a very low threshold of pain when it comes to my teeth. I want no pain and I want it to go fast! After my teeth cleaning last week with Penny, who is an excellent hygienist, I was informed that I had a cavity and in need of a crown replacement. The crown needing replacing was not Dr. M's work. I was shocked when I found out I would have the cavity fixed and crown replaced in only 2 hours. I was in and out today in two hours. Dr. Mathis has a 3D scanner and printer that was able to create the crown in that time frame. No more 2 step process of waiting around between appointments with an uncomfortable temporary crown.

The staff are kind and compassionate to me, the anxious patient, and always do their best to accommodate my fear! One thing that I realized today walking into the office is that they probably have the most beautiful office locations in all of Santa Barbara. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Dr. Mathis to anyone!

What an amazing experience! Dr Mathis has a special device that helped him do the numbing injection, I didn’t feel a thing!!! Then, Dr Mathis made me a crown while I waited! An hour later I walked out with a crown that matched and felt natural!
