Horrible it cost me $200 to test my saliva. It’s not their fault. That’s a lot of money to me but I got the results they were explained to me very well I guess it was worth it. The staff at the front desk are so friendly and informative. The lady that helped me I think she is a dental assistant is also wonderful. Nice clean office super fast no wait time and a very nice big fish tank with pretty fish’!? Thank you Smile Dr. See you soon

I started going here because I saw good reviews & I had a fear of the dentist so needed somewhere to feel comfortable . From my first time walking in I spoke to Ashley and she immediately made me feel belittled but, I ignored it and kept going back because she was just the receptionist and I really liked the dentist and DA. Time after time she gave me a bad experience, from making it seem like I couldn’t afford treatment and acting as if my insurance wasn’t good enough and wasn’t gonna cover treatments. Even tho it did and when it didn’t I had no problem ever paying my bill on time.

I decided I was gonna stop going there because it was so embarrassing that she made me feel small time after time and found a new office but with my fear of the dentist I hadn’t been seen in a year.

When I called to notify Ashley that the new office has not received my chart ONCE AGAIN she belittled me and made smart comments like “ohhh wow so you haven’t been seen in a year?” She also kept cutting me off and stating obvious facts like “this is the smile doctor” anytime I mentioned that office . All while I was trying to explain that the only reason for my call was to please send the charts as I am sitting in the dental chair .

We sat on the phone for 5 minutes while she questioned why I haven’t been seen in over a year and am now all of a sudden requesting my charts. Then she scoffed and said “ well it’s probably because they deleted your chart since you never scheduled an appointment or never showed up” I never told her that I missed an appointment she just assumed . After all that being said she FINALLY said “ok I’ll send it over “

The dental assistant i was with was appalled by her comments as she was on speaker. She said that they would not just delete the charts that they received and they just never received my full chart. It was always missing one part. I ended up not getting charged to just redo the chart at the new office because they said they didn’t want me to have to deal with her.

I wouldn’t recommend this office to anyone.

I have never liked going to the dentist! I found the Smile Dr. 2½ years ago and I hope to stay there forever. I have work that I need done but I feel more relieved about it than stressed which is more than I could say just a short time ago! The staff are friendly, helpful, and professional. They talk to you like you're a real person and explain things plainly without judgement. Highly recommend! I will post an update with before and after photos once the work is complete.

Dr. Shturman made me feel comfortable and she is so knowledgeable. I loved my first visit at The Doctor Smile. Everyone was super friendly, my dental cleaning was 10/10.

This place is awesome place to go to, they're very understanding,patient, kind and and very quick they are willing to work with you and answer most questions you have...Dentist(Doctor) also explains every detail they spot in your xrays and exams I had no problems for my first day

The receptionist with the glasses, SUPER RUDE. I got my tooth pulled and SHE was the reason I couldn’t wait to get out and never come back. The girlies working on my tooth were nice and informative, but the girl that checked me in and rescheduled me was the polar opposite of a ray of sunshine. I wouldn’t recommend this office to anyone, and I’m gonna say this same thing on Yelp too.

Gosh, the Smile Dr is great!! I'm 77 and always went to a dentist. I got molars pulled, teeth filled with gold, root canals; you name it - I got it. I always had gum disease! So, I lost teeth....and made my way to a local free place, as I'm low income. I got dentures, but they were way too big. I couldn't close my mouth!! I looked like an orangutan!!! So I've been walking around with two teeth, hardly able to chew or eat! Now.....I'm on Medicare, but I wasn't on Aetna - - - yet. Three years ago I ended up with Aetna.....just a simple phone call. AND they allow me $1000 a year for dental. I don't pay Aetna. So....I luckily hooked up with the Smile Dr and couldn't (still can't) get over how wonderful a REAL dentist is!!! The office at 3000 L St, sac, is perfect. Seriously perfect. The front desk girls are so good at what they do....Lina and Ashley. The staff is Brianna, Leann, and Cherrie, and Dr Kim. They are all so very good...gentle and friendly and competent. I can't rave enough!! And....wait for it.....my copay is $50. That's it!!! $50 for my $1000. So half this year....half next year. They don't take just medicare, but if you get medicare you can get Aetna. So don't put it off. Get your teeth!!! Just cuz were old (yikes! I'm old!!!) doesn't mean to rot away!! And all the folks who look down on me for no teeth..... well I've got a surprise for you!!!! I went to the Smile Dr!!!! You go there too!!! Tell them I sent you!!! ?

I recommend the Smile Doctor because of the warm and friendly staff who advise you of the best treatment plan for your teeth. I had a deep tooth cleaning, some fillings and a crown put in, and I'm happy with my results.
