This is by far the best dentist I’ve ever been to! The customer service is exceptional, and the doctor is highly skilled, efficient, and clearly knows her craft. The staff are all incredibly friendly and go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable every step of the way. They made the procedures as painless as possible. I’ve been searching for a great dentist for a long time, and I’m so glad I found this place. I can’t recommend them enough!

This is the best dental practice! I have tried so many places in San Diego. Finally, I found a place where the actually have great customer service and get the job done without a million appointments. I lost so many teeth due to chemo and needed dentures. 2 visits, I walked out being able to smile again. The dentist, so adept and quick, no pain at all! Best place ever!

This place and all the people here are truly amazing!! I’ve been literally being tortured at other dental offices till now!! My husband has been trying to tell me that all the people at dental express will change how I look at going to the DENTIST. It has restored my faith once again!! I’ve had deep cleaning, crowns and fillings, ZERO PAIN!! Dr Marty knows his job (My dentist for life!!) and Cyndy was my hygienist that I’m looking forward to again getting my teeth cleaned. Honestly every person here is awesome!! Thank you 😊

I have never written a review till now. I am so beyond upset and disappointed at this place. I have been coming to Dental Express-in Santee for years now and never have experienced what I have today. I had made an appointment to get my tooth looked at due to some pain. On their website they have a convenient way of scheduling appointments yourself. I scheduled my appointment for today 2/25 by picking the tooth ache and pain option. My appointment was at 10:00 am. I check in and waited in the lobby like everyone else. I waited for 20 minutes and started questioning why I hadn’t been taken back yet but they seemed to be a bit busy. No big deal, I kept waiting. 45 minutes went by and finally they took me back to a room. I was a little frustrated at this point because i’ve never waited that long for an appointment there. Never once did they tell me or anyone else they were running behind. I get back to a room and the dental assistant did some x rays. He then told me that they weren’t gonna be able to fix my tooth but would do teeth cleaning. He told me I scheduled it as a routine check up and that they were pretty busy. Which seemed wrong to me since I know how I scheduled it online and never had a problem before. I didn’t say anything because I felt bad they were so busy and maybe by some chance I did mess up on their website. He then told me it was gonna be a minute till I see the doctor and that he’d check up on me. I waited for another 45 minutes and never once got checked up on. I was irritated at this point. The doctor finally comes in at 11:30. My appointment was at 10:00. He looks at my teeth for about 3 minutes and tells me I need to get scheduled for a teeth filling…and a teeth cleaning. Now i’m Mad. I waited for an hour and half for them to do absolutely nothing. The doctor tells me a lady will come by to get me on the schedule. I still didn’t say anything because I didn’t want to be a “Karen”. Even though I was extremely upset. The lady comes in, looks me up and down. Gives me a dirty look and says, “The next available appointment will be in July”. I started laughing because i’m thinking to myself this has to be a joke. She says “or I can try to call you if someone cancels but that’s all i can do for you”. She was extremely rude and made me feel super uncomfortable. I am now sitting there trying to figure out if I want to wait 5 months with a tooth ache. Which I think is ridiculous. She never even offered for another dentist to see me sooner. She rushes me and says “so what do you want to do”. I just told her no thanks, don’t schedule me. I’ll be going somewhere else. She shrugs her shoulders at me and says “okay”. She walks out the room and never said i’m sorry, thank you for coming, and didn’t even show me the way out. I’ve never gotten treated with so much disrespect and never witnessed so much unprofessionalism at a dentist office. If they were so busy they shouldn’t have schedule so many people at the same time. This place needs to learn how to communicate with their patients. I walked out and I will unfortunately never come back to this dentist office. I now understand why there is more than one bad review about this place.

I have been coming to Dental Express for many years now, based on a referral from a friend. Their offices are beautiful, large and airy with a train theme that features a train running near the ceiling throughout the offices. Cute! I have found the admin staff to always be pleasant and efficient and I almost never have to wait. They did a beautiful job on some dentures for me, so I have referred at least 3 friends for the same. They were also pleased with the results and timeliness of getting the job done. They take most insurance including Medi-Cal, so don't put off going to see them! Your smile will change your life!

So I’ve been to this location many times for my wife and children. And all of them have had great experiences without any complaints. I have also had some experience with Dr. Marty and I’ll have to say, I’ll never go anywhere else!

11-7-24 My experiences have been under unreal amounts of tooth pain and anxiety attacks. But not only did Dr. Marty take the pain from a 10 to a “0”, he also made me feel extremely calm and that my anxiety was normal. He gave me the meds to take an hour before I came back, and he got this aggravated root canal taken care off in about a half an hour. Pain free days are ahead so thank you Doc. A+
