I'm new to the neighborhood and this dentist is walking distance from my place. I originally booked because of good ratings elsewhere and they showed up in my healthcare providers app.
I was super pleasantly surprised that her philosophy is not to start chopping up your mouth. Obviously fix what need fixing but also relying on good practices to keep your teeth healthy. Also she has a great sense of humor and is nice and direct.
I'm scheduled for a fix that a previous dentist didn't do right. And on the waitlist for a cleaning. I'll update the review after that.
So far so good.

Update after replacing filling. AMAZING. I think hands down the best dentist I’ve been to in my life. And it also feels great not to have that toothache.

Dr. Monzon's practice of Biomimetic Dentistry is what I've been searching for 30 years. Finally, a dentist that doesn't destroy your entire tooth to add a crown. If I had found her earlier, I would not have two implants and 10 or more crowns. Thank you Dr. Monson.

I was having pain in a left lower molar that a crown had come off of so there was a jagged surface, which was painful. I saw first Dr. Maral Khazali @ Oxnard Modern Dentistry- [Do Not Go Here !] [who pushed 3 crowns on me immediately instead of taking care of this tooth]. I then saw Dr. Gina Torgersen in Camarillo, who after looking I'm my mouth for 2 minutes, said "you have a cavity and need a root canal done". I scheduled the root canal, but being a Nurse, I came away from Dr. Torgersen feeling very uneasy with this quick diagnosis and so went on Yelp and saw Dr. Teresa Monzon's reviews- which were all '5 Stars',. I immediately called her and her friendly secretary, Connie, kindly worked me into her schedule the next day. When Dr. Monzon saw me she said "you don't have a cavity on that tooth and you don't need a root canal !-this tooth is healthy and just needs to be capped- which she did, right then and there ! She spent over an hour with me with her wonderful assistant Lynn, and my tooth feels wonderful now- like brand new ! I can't thank Dr. Monzon enough for fixing my jagged, uncomfortable tooth, for saving me from going through a unneeded root canal, [costing me pain and alot of money !] and the for kindness and concern that she and her Staff showed me. She will definitely be our 'go to' Dentist from now on.

I have found Dr Monzon and her staff to be the best of the best.
She was wonderful with my husband who had Alzheimer's and she always answers concerns and referres to specialist if she can't fix the problem.
Thankful she was taking new patients when I moved here 5 years ago.

Dr Monzon has been my dentist for over 25 years, even when I was still on active duty in the military. Although she moved her clinic twice… and farther away from where I live it hasn’t deterred me from driving the extra miles. She and her staff are very professional and accommodating, always providing awesome dental work. Thanks Doc and to your staff for all the “job well done” over the years!!!

I was very impressed with Dr Monzon and her office/staff. Every aspect of interaction with them made me feel like a person and not a number. All the staff were very good at their jobs and had a pleasant, calming attitude. I found Dr Monzon to be extremely competent and I appreciated the very good communication by the dentist and by the staff, in regards to the appointment, the process, and the exam itself.
Dr Monzon's practice is exactly what I was looking for in a dentist.

I am a new patient and had my first appointment in December. I was impressed with how meticulous and thorough Dr. Monzon and her hygienists are. Also, the vibe of the office is just very personal and friendly. Fast forward about a month to yesterday. I was at dinner the night before and broke a tooth! It was really uncomfortable and sharp, cutting my tongue. Dr. Monzon's staff got me in for an emergency appointment the same day and she had my tooth completely fixed and looking like new in no time. Fortunately a crown was not required and the cost was very reasonable. Thank you!
