I have never seen a worse place. Wait 3 hours for a consultation for 200€ and still not get it. If you respect yourself and your time, don't even consider this clinic. I wanted to have an operation here, 10,000€ is not a small amount of money for ordinary people. I am a person who has money and who is ready to pay, but such an attitude at the beginning makes it clear what will happen next. A clinic for suckers! I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE! There are much better places in Spain..

This a not an organised hospital. It’s a shame as it has huge potential, but the very poor communications, disorganised approach and quality of food both for patients and visitors (cafe) really lets it down. There is almost an apathy in patient relationships. Given the main issue in most hospitals is the same, having to pay a premium rate at Teknon for the same poor service is a really sad state of affairs. It can be fixed, but it needs a management and medical team committed to patient centric behaviours and not just passively ignoring obvious problems. Ignorance is no excuse, in fact it’s probably the main problem. Best try and find a hospital that is proactive at patient care and communication. It’s not here.

I was reffered to here by ChatGPT, but when I saw their notice on the website that says 'During August we can't respond to your queries via the sign up form, instead call', you know exactly what this place is like and how you will feel there. Just another messy, toxic hospital in Barcelona, like there are many out there. Forms should be easier to attend than phone calls! Also it's 2025, having a website and a form is beyond basic and not being able to offer that as a PRIVATE hospital means you're 100% incompetent and don't deserve my money. 2 stars because I didn't experience full care.

During my pregnancy my doctora was
Dra Laura Guirado Manchon. Without a doubt, she is the best doctor i have ever met. I can't be more grateful. She is very kind, caring. I normally have anxiety but never got worried during the pregnancy and the c section operation. Her team Cristina (i don't know the names of the assistances in front desk) they were super kind, helpful,amazing people. I would give 10/10 to the hospital teknon in maternity care and recommend everyone. Thank you Dra Laura ❤️

If briefly - they killed me in this clinic. They shortened my life from a possible 12-24 months (there was even a possibility to defeat cancer) to 1-3 months.
Here is my story:
I came from Ukraine specifically to this clinic for cancer treatment. I had previously discussed my situation with Prof Jaume Capdevila. Money was not an important issue for me (just for information, treatment in this clinic is 3.5 times more expensive than in Ukraine, I was ready to pay any amount of money, professionalism was important to me).
When I arrive at the clinic, Prof Jaume Capdevila had gone on vacation, which I was not warned about, and they transfer me to his colleague (assistant, I don't remember exactly, I think his name was Alessandro).
They conduct a blood test and see that my condition has worsened and I cannot be given the immune drug. This doctor suggests waiting a week in hopes that the liver tests will improve. After a week, the liver parameters got even worse, and to understand the situation, a liver biopsy needs to be done, but the doctor who performs it is also on vacation.
Alessandro decides not to wait for the biopsy, he is sure that the bad tests are drug-induced hepatitis and it can always be corrected with steroids, and decides to administer the immune drug.
As a result, within 3 weeks after this injection, I develop hyper-progression of cancer and metastases consumed my liver (this could have been avoided if Alessandro had waited and done the biopsy).
Eventually Prof Jaume Capdevila returned from vacation, we met, he told me he had bad news for me (that I have hyper-progression of cancer and that it can be tried to stop with chemotherapy) - there were no apologies, no information that the median survival with hyper-progression is 3 months and that in my case, using chemo would more likely shorten this time rather than extend it.
During these 3 weeks, I managed to visit the emergency care of this clinic, where they could not identify blood clots in my leg and sent me home saying take painkillers and walk.
I spent 10 days lying in the clinic itself where generally incomprehensible things were happening - in 10 days I never understood who my attending physician was. I left the hospital myself because for the last 3 days I was just lying and waiting for test results, they were doing nothing, just giving paracetamol and clexane.
In general, in a month I spent 30,000 euros and became convinced of the complete incompetence of the staff of this hospital. I came to this hospital in good condition and left in a wheelchair as a dying person with 1-3 months left to live.

I am trying to make an appointment for two days. First, when you click on 3 to get attended in English they always connect you to Spanish. Second, today when they connected me to appropriate ambulant a woman asked me if I speak Spanish and when I said no she hanged up the phone even tho she spoke with me up until then in English. It says it's international hospital? Very, very rude behaviour. Never experienced anything like this.

I am very happy to have found Dr Elvira Herreria (psychologist) - she’s wonderful and i’ve been seeing her for 2 years + , looking forward to seeing her again @ teknon next month. This centre is very grand and large, looks so lovely with the trees and greenery. Lots of signs to aid navigation. But despite that i must say it was a bit difficult finding her office - all staff i asked were helpful and sweet. I only have experience with my Dr and she’s fantastic. Highly recommended.
