Llevé a mi hijo de 9 años, quien tiene autismo, a una cita con el Dr. Hall en Sunray Pediatrics Dentist, y lamentablemente la experiencia fue muy negativa. Desde el principio, el Dr. Hall tuvo un comportamiento grosero e inapropiado para tratar a un niño con autismo. Le exigió que levantara la mano y no hablara mientras él hablaba, además de que pusiera sus manos en el pecho. Esto generó incomodidad tanto en mi hijo como en mí.

También observé que el doctor habló de manera irrespetuosa con su personal, cuestionándolos por no haberme entregado previamente una autorización para el uso del gas de la risa. Mi hijo nunca ha necesitado ese gas para sus tratamientos dentales; solo requiere paciencia y un manejo adecuado de su condición. A pesar de que el Dr. Hall aseguró saber cómo tratar a niños con autismo, sus acciones demostraron todo lo contrario. En lugar de calmar la situación, parecía escalarla.

En un momento, mi hijo levantó su mano como le había indicado, pero el doctor lo interrumpió bruscamente y le dijo que no podía hacerlo en ese momento. Mi hijo volteó a mirarme pidiendo ayuda, y esa fue la señal para abandonar el lugar inmediatamente. Fue doloroso ver cómo un profesional con supuesta experiencia en el manejo de niños con autismo carecía completamente de paciencia, empatía y tacto.

Hago esta reseña porque no quiero que ninguna madre o niño tenga que pasar por una experiencia tan frustrante y decepcionante. No puedo recomendar a este dentista bajo ninguna circunstancia.

I took my 9-year-old son, who has autism, to see Dr. Hall at Sunray Pediatrics Dentist, and unfortunately, it was a very negative experience. From the start, Dr. Hall displayed rude and inappropriate behavior for treating a child with autism. He demanded that my son raise his hand and not speak while he was talking, and he also insisted that my son keep his hands on his chest. This made both my son and me very uncomfortable.

I also noticed that Dr. Hall spoke rudely to his staff, questioning why they hadn’t given me a consent form for laughing gas beforehand. My son has never needed laughing gas for dental treatments; he only requires patience and proper handling of the situation. Although Dr. Hall claimed to know how to work with children with autism, his actions proved otherwise. Instead of de-escalating the situation, he seemed to aggravate it further.

At one point, my son raised his hand as instructed, but Dr. Hall brusquely told him not to interrupt at that moment. My son looked at me, silently asking for help, and that was when I decided to leave immediately. It was heartbreaking to see how a supposed professional with experience in treating children with autism completely lacked patience, empathy, and tact.

I am writing this review because I wouldn’t want any other child or parent to go through such a frustrating and disappointing experience. I cannot recommend this dentist under any circumstances.

From the moment we walk in, Crystal at the front desk greets us with a warm and friendly attitude, making the experience even better. The entire staff is professional, patient, and great with kids, ensuring they feel comfortable and at ease during their visits. The dentists are highly skilled and take the time to explain everything, which I really appreciate as a parent. We’ve had nothing but positive experiences here, and I highly recommend this office to anyone looking for excellent dental care!

It’s so clean and tidy, have options between toys, books, coloring pages, and movies for you & your child while you wait to be called for your appointment!

Dr Hall and is staff are amazing! They are all so patient, kind and helpful! Dr Hall has a special way of talking to my daughter to make her feel safe, while he does his exam and includes her with participation, like letting her hold the suction and suctioning her self when needed. I absolutely love this office!

What I like the most of Sunray is that the Dr Hall always takes a very hands-on approach to patient care, actively examining and assessing your kid’s dental health. Both my daughters are his patients and I have seen a high level of personal involvement and attention to detail in every visit.
