I had a great experience with Dr. Matt Hanchett and the entire staff! The staff was friendly and answered all my questions/put my mind to ease. Dr. Hanchett made the entire wisdom teeth extraction process very easy -- my recovery was super easy and the pain was extremely manageable. I also loved that he called later the same day of the surgery to check in on me!

I had my wisdom teeth removed here and the team were so sweet and amazing, a great group overall! I was a bit nervous going into my appointment but Dr. Hanchett was the best and made surgery so quick and easy! I appreciated when he called later that evening to check up on how I was doing and answered any questions or concerns I had! Also enjoyed the atmosphere of the office with great background music and a nice setup as well, I felt very comfortable and calm for my surgery and post-op as well! They did such a great job!!

My wife and I just visited Summit Dental Specialty and all I can say is WOW!!! My son is 8 months old and has a little white bump under his tongue. His pediatrician wanted us to take him to a specialist just to have a looked at it. Our doctors referral coordinator called around the entire valley of the sun and no surgeon would look at our son due to his age. I was referred to Summit Dental Specialty from a friend and I am so glad we were! From the moment I called the office, Shiela took amazing care of us. She got us an appointment the very next day with one of her amazing doctors.

When we arrived at the office Shiela greeted us with open arms and amazing hospitality! Within minutes of arriving we were called to be seen. The nurse took our temperatures to ensure we were not showing symptoms of Covid-19. All of the staff were wearing masks & gloves. There was hand sanitizer in multiple places for patients to use, we felt extremely comfortable to visit the office during Covid-19.

The nurse was extremely friendly as she asked us a few questions about our son, he was very talkative but the nurse was very genuine and smiled at him and waived. You can tell the staff here truly loves kids. Some other doctor offices the staff puts a fake smile on and are annoyed if babies are well, acting like babies but not here.

We had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Hanchett. He came in the room and right away was interacting with our son. He was so friendly and shared with us that he has a 1 year old and 3 year old at home. Hearing that put my wife and I at ease knowing that he understands what we are going through as first time parents. We were both a little afraid of what this bump could be, reading WebMD is never a good idea as a first time parent and we might have done that. Dr. Hanchett took a look at our son’s mouth and saw the bump and examined it. He explained what it was and that at this moment there is nothing to worry about and we will re-visit him in 6 months. He also noticed our son has two teeth coming in so he shared with us what we could do to ease his pain and how to brush them. Again he shared personal stories of how he brushes his kids teeth and that was comforting to hear.

The nurse who came into the room with doctor was extremely friendly and also interacted with our son. Our son dropped his ball on the floor and she automatically picked it up and cleaned it for us.

After speaking to the doctor the nurse made us an appointment for a 6 month follow up and even gave some toys to our son to have. I mean, I wish I was visiting this office as a patient, when I go to my dentist he only gives me a toothbrush and toothpaste, nothing fun like a squishy ball and sun glasses ?

The staff at Summit Dental Specialty is an All-Star Team and if you need to have any work done, I would 100% highly recommend this office!!!

Do not do business with them. They do not honor the price they quote. If you do go there, ask them about the “UCR” fee column - those are the fees they charged my insurance, which was twice the amount they quoted me. Now they are threatening to send me to collections, instead of honoring the price we agreed on. They even told the Az Attorney General our agreed on price after I filed a complaint. I have paid in full. Called the family lawyer last night to see where we go from here.

Excellent service from the time of booking my sons appointment to after his surgery. Everyone was so nice. Dr. Hanchett was excellent!!! He came out and explained everything to me and even called the evening after surgery to check on my son. Very pleased and highly recommend Summit Dental!!!

Had two wisdom teeth and one additional pulled. I have had mediocre service at every previous dentist I've been to.
Dr Hanchett and his assistants Kayla and Alex went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and well taken care of throughout the entire process. I came in nervous, but I left extremely pleased and at ease about the choice I made. I wouldn't recommend anywhere else to go, they're amazing! 10/10!
