When I called into the office I had no idea that I had an infection in my tooth but from what I told the young man on the phone he said I needed to come in right away and got me in that day! Dr. Magar was so sweet and compassionate when he came in to tell me that my tooth was fractured and infected and I needed it out because the tooth was fractured all the way down. He was very gentle and got the work done keeping in my comfort in mind; checking to make sure I was okay along the way! Everybody in the office was very polite and friendly and also very compassionate! Although I never expected to spend so much time there and have so much work done I never felt uncared for! Thank you to everyone at Stanton Smiles!

I am a patient of Stanton Smiles Dentistry since the beginning and with the previous owner. It is important to know I am pretty afraid of the dentist and I wasn’t a big fan of that change.

When I went to my cleaning appointment, I was received first by Dr. Magar. So, I expressed my fear of dentist, and that I was only comfortable with the previous owner. We talked about all the traumas due to butchers (they cannot be called “dentists”) when I was a kid that lead after to that crazy fear. And, Dr. Magar, I don’t know how, put me in confidence and I agreed to give him a chance. He promised me to always take care of me himself, promise he still keeps.

After the “learning phase”, we talked about the main subject: my teeth. After my 1st invisalign treatment, my teeth moved and I didn’t like my smile. For me, it was pure aesthetic, but Dr. Magar saw my premolars and molars moved too, and it would be a problem in the future. So I went to a 2nd invisalign treatment, with check-ups every 2 months. At the end of the treatment, I was happy but Dr. Magar still thought my teeth were not perfect and found out a bite and pressure issue with a side of my mouth. I never realized it because I was leaving for at least 3 decades that way and was used to it, but Dr. Magar saw it right away. We started a 3rd invisalign treatment (at no cost for me like the 2nd one!) and here we go! I am in my last tray right now, and I can bite and chew my food with all my teeth (and not with just one side like before)! I don’t even remember when I was able to do it the last time…
I really want to thank the Dr. Magar, without him, I would have never been able to “eat” properly with all my mouth. His work is great!
He gave me confidence with my perfect smile and he was a perfectionnist because he didn’t work only on the aesthetic side and saw issues that nobody saw!
Actually, I moved out of state, but I will definitely keep Dr. Magar as my dentist and travel to see him! Everybody deserves to have a Dr. Magar as his/her dentist!

UPDATE: The office made things right with me and I really appreciated their efforts. (I wont mention how) but I think that’s worth bumping up a star. This is why communication with them/offices like this is important.

…So I had my wisdom teeth removed here and somehow my crown came off during… Something I would think their surgeon would note but didn’t. The office did make me a new one, then within a month, it ended up getting infected and I was told I would have to get a root canal which would cost another $950 (guess that’s a discounted price?). The dentist I usually interacted with does do a good job of explaining things to me and talking me through the clinical side (only reason I gave an extra star..) but it’s the management that doesn’t seem to care for their patients or accommodates for their wrongs.. I say this because I kept getting told the crown would feel weird and that it would get better and I cared for it the same way as I did when I got my previous crowns.. I was offered a lame discount as a fix.. As for front office, When I was told they’d send a prescription for anti inflammatory and amoxicillin to my pharmacist on a Thursday, it didn’t actually go out until the following Tuesday (though Monday they were closed) so that really sucked to have to wait for that as I’m in constant pain and discomfort and also not get a call to notify me it was submitted when they said they would call to let me know.. so with that being said, if you’re considering this office as your dentist, I would just be on guard and make sure to advocate for yourself better than I did for myself..

Staff is so welcoming and nice. Hygienist was so gentle and informative. Such a great dental office. I will definitely be recommend this office to all my family and friends
