I recently had surgery at SPRHC. The admission process was very smooth, the surgery team did a great job. All were caring and kept me informed of what was happening through the process. The nurses, anesthesiologist, and Dr Vijan are a great team. I spent one night in the hospital and received wonderful care from the team of nurses on the floor. They were caring, helpful, understanding, and thorough. Thanks to each of you who cared for me during this time.

My name is Raymond Thetford and Huerfano county hospital, spanish peaks, has the best drs, nurses and staff in the er that ive ever come across. Last night with the help of God, my wife, kids and those people at the hospital i was able to come home to my family. They deserve so much more respect than they get. I am very upset. I went to the er on Monday the 20th. I have a broken wrist. Dr. Davis helped me. He said they would send everything that was needed so I could get an appointment with parkview orthopedics. I finally got to talk to someone and they said they never received anything. It has been almost two weeks since I broke this wrist. They are not very good evidently.

I just had a wonderful experience in the physical therapy department. I have an injured ankle, and I had a lot of anxiety when I arrived.
Within moments of meeting Hannah Larson, I felt so much more relaxed. She had a wonderful bedside manner, she listened to my concerns and was willing to explain everything to me. She didn't try to rush me or bully me. She did some amazing things that made my ankle feel better right away.
Hannah has the perfect combo of intellect, professionalism, and compassion. I'm a Medicaid patient, and she treated me like a VIP. I wish all medical professionals behaved like Hannah Larson!

Had to have surgery and was referred to Dr Vijon. I was really impressed with the entire team. They were responsive, professional, helpful, considerate and really careful with my needs and risk assessment. I felt cared for in their hands. I highly recommend this location, doctor, and team. Looking forward to mending.

Spanish Peaks Clinic -
My mother was called about some test results by a Medical Assistant, I believe her name was Faith, she was VERY rude to my mother, who is 78, when she had questions about the call, she was yelling at my mother and pursue to continue talking bad about my mother to another coworker while hanging up the phone. I called and left message to talk to her boss and the call was never returned. We had this experience twice with the same medical assistant, the other time was in clinic. I am looking to change providers to Pueblo.

I know it's odd to review hospitals, but my mother and I got in an awful car wreck. I was so incredibly shook up, but the staff in the emergency department was phenomenal. I felt like they genuinely cared about me and my health and their presence was so warm. Everyone was being so kind and nurturing. We're not from Colorado so we were so frazzled and lost but everyone was so attentive and sweet. Laurie held me and let me cry and I think I really needed that. That emergency department is full of angels. Genuinely, thank you.
