We have been going here for 4 years and have recommended it to people around us, but not anymore. It was a bad experience and we don't want to go there anymore. They keep pushing that x-rays are mandatory and that cancellations are allowed up to 2 days in advance, but they only let you know what treatment you will need the day before. Their policies and services make for an uncomfortable experience.

Friendly staff and very quick and efficient! They made my kids feel so comfortable and listened to all of my concerns. The doctor took the time to explain the after care summary and asked if I had any questions. Everyone was very friendly. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

I do not recommend SouthWest Kids Dentistry. I had a scheduled routine appointment today, and they refused to treat my son because I declined their request of an X-Ray. My son received an X-ray from them just six months prior with no dental concerns so I felt this was unnecessary and excessive.

Even the guidelines from the American Dental Association (ADA) and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD), state children typically only need X-rays every 12-24 months. I expressed my preference to follow these guidelines and have X-rays done annually.

I asked if they could at least proceed with the scheduled cleaning, but they refused to treat my son altogether. As a working mom, I took time off specifically for this appointment, and their total disregard for my time and preferences speak volumes on how they run their practice.

Since they refused to treat my son unless I consented to unnecessary X-rays with additional fees, it became clear that their priority was profit over patient care. I cannot trust a practice that operates this way.

Read thru the fine print. If you have multiple kids not a great choice you can only take the kid with the appointment in, would need to get a baby sitter or something to even be seen…. People these don’t have a village like come on.
When I asked about where it says no other kids can come in it took 2 girls to find it… yet patients need to know.
