Today I went to Simply Dentistry in San Bruno and WOW was I taken good care of! I had lost a filling and part of my front tooth which looked horrible. Dr Chen did the best job, you don’t even know it’s a filling!
I am overjoyed and no doubt, I will be a forever-patient! ?

Dr Chen is great! I’ve been coming to this practice for a couple years now and used to see Dr Lee. So I’m glad he found an equally great dentist to replace him! She was super nice and understanding and very informative. She also did a procedure on my tooth and made me feel less anxious and comfortable (dental exams used to give me a lot of anxiety and there was a period in my life where I didn’t see a dentist for like 4-5 years ? but now I come in every 6 months like I should because of Simply Dentistry.) She also examined my 2 year old daughter and I was so impressed, my daughter didn’t cry at all. What a great experience.

I had a pretty bad experience with this office, mostly regarding billing. Christina determined I needed crowns and I was given a quote on the price, it seemed a bit high but I was willing to pay for the quality.

Upon arrival to get the work done, they ask for ~$200 more above the quoted price upfront, saying that insurance may refund me any excess. Finally, a couple weeks after the work they bill me for another $100 without any communication! Their office pinned this on the insurance, but the insurance clarified that this office is simply overcharged for the procedure. So, the poor review is for their incompetence, as any dental office should know they can get pre-authorization for non-urgent work or at least ingest some of the balance if they grossly misquoted a patient.

I've been going to Simply Dentistry for years. The dentist and staff are all wonderful. They really care about their patients and take extra time to make anxious people like me extra comfortable. 🙂

Dr. Lee and the whole staff were wonderful! The office is clean, welcoming, and easy to get to. Most importantly, Dr. Lee presented his findings in a thoughtful and educational way and I didn’t feel any pressure do unnecessary work. He walked me through various root cause issues and what I can do to set myself up better (without any judgement, thank you!)

My teeth are sparkly clean and Mel did an awesome job with my whitening. Looking forward to working with Dr. Lee and his team more in the future.

Dr. Lee and his whole team at the office are so nice, familial, and honest! Carol, Christina, & Dr. Lee's assistant are so sweet! I feel taken care of at the office and the experience is so easy. In general, I don't feel pressured to do any unnecessary procedures but I'm made aware they're available and the outcomes of my decisions. That's really important for me.

I hadn't visited a dentist in a few years and was a little apprehensive about my first time , but this place won me over! Dr Lee was super friendly, highly courteous and took his time to check my teeth ,provide options and explained what he was doing in a clear and straightforward way.His experience , skillful evaluation & execution gave me a sense of confidence as the work progressed. He was very gentle, patient and offered suggestions for dental hygiene.
Dr. Lee and his team are phenomenal!!! I highly recommend using their service for all your dental needs.

I was traveling on business and had a gold filling come out. I called and they were able to get me in the same day! Sheila, and Mel and Dr. Chen were so professional! A shout out to them and I highly recommend them!
