Best. Dentist. Ever. I had four crowns done across the front on my upper teeth and it looks amazing. I'm actually posting this now two years after it was done and have not had a single issue, everything looks and feels perfect. I’m terrified of going to the dentist because I had a bad experience as a child that has stayed with me all these years, so I didn’t know what to expect when looking for a new dentist in Sherman Oaks. Not only is Dr. Aaron Kahen the best dentist I’ve ever had anywhere, his entire staff were caring, highly skilled, thoughtful and they are just such a nice, kind group of dental professionals. I needed to find a dental deep cleaning in the San Fernando Valley that would be painless, and I lucked out because I felt zero pain and they played music for me and spoke to me to help me feel relaxed. I know I acted like a kid, but they treated me with such respect and kindness. The dental hygienist was amazing too, and he did an incredible job working around my braces. I am definitely coming back here! If you want a gentle skilled dentist and one that’s great with kids, Dr. Aaron Kahen is your BEST dentist serving LA and the San Fernando Valley, no doubt. And Tina the receptionist / office manager is a sweetheart!

Super friendly, up front about what you need. I've always hated getting X-rays of my teeth because it's always been uncomfortable. Alan made it painless and comfortable. Dr. Aaron is delightful! I highly recommend Sherman Oaks Smile Center!

This dentist office is a miracle. The last 3 dentist offices I’ve seen were either unethical or were forceful and shaming me for my dental hygiene. This has caused great anxiety to the point where I get shaky, can’t talk and cry and need to ask for sedation. I originally called the office and spoke to Tina about how I have been trying to get cavities filled for almost a year due to not being comfortable with or able to have a dentist treat me. Tina was very proactive about making an appointment and ensuring me that she would call me if there were any earlier openings (Which she did!). She was kind and understanding about my anxiety and said the doctor is the best and if after going the treatment plan I still want sedation that they have it available. Allen did my X-rays very fast and efficiently and polished my teeth and is a very professional mellow guy. Dr. Aaron Kahen is the best dentist I’ve seen in 28 years. He is a great listener and communicator and you can tell he really cares about his patients and work. He gave me faith that there are actually good dentist out there. If you are in the valley definitely choose him as your dentist because he will truly take care of you and your teeth.

Wonderful office. Tina at the front is always so welcoming. Beautiful & modern facility. Dr. Aaron is brilliant, compassionate, and very gentle. the dental assistants are amazing. I had a root canal today, and actually fell asleep.

Dr. Aaron is extremely professional, honest, and straightforward! I went in for a checkup and he checked my teeth thoroughly. I ended up having one cavity and unlike other doctors I've been to, he showed me exactly where it is through a camera. He ended up removing the small cavity on the very same day I came in for a checkup. The receptionist was also very helpful and made the sign up process seamless. She even asked me what music I liked so she could put on some tunes for me - talk about hospitality! I definitely will be coming back!
