This was my first visit at Santa Fe Dental. ?.
Check in was incredibly simple. Betsy took a full set of X-rays in less than 10 mins. Dr Muro did a thorough complete exam. Only thing he diagnosed was a night guard. I was scanned right there and then by another great assistant Edwin. Michael their hygienist did an amazing job cleaning my ? teeth.
All in all a beautiful experience.. I will be back

This is the first time I am able to leave a 5 star review in 3 years of being a patient at this office. I understand due to my insurance that I am probably limited on services and after asking previous hygenists and dentist here about my gums they always say “ it looks pretty good “, which I had my doubts about….

After my last visit, the Hygienist was amazing and could tell my gums were not in good health and she went to work. Ultimately leading to a laser gum treatment to help recover from gingivitis, something the doctor did not seem to think was relevant to my concern (maybe that’s not his part of the job but was still disappointing). I forgot the Hygienist’s name but she was great and in my experience the best employee there. If someone from the staff can check to see who that was please respond and give her Kudos for the great job she did.

Dentists appointments are never exciting. I came here to get a tooth fixed. The first time they took intra-oral photos on me, the lady there hurt me. When I let her know she was hurting me, she told me my mouth was small. I visit my dentist every year and had never experienced that. The second time around, I came in to get the procedure done. The lady sat me done and picked up the intra-oral camera. She was going to put it in my mouth when I realized it had red stains. I informed the lady it seem to have blood right before she stuck it in my mouth. She laughed and said “oh it looks like lipstick” She grabbed a Clorox wipe, wiped it down and then put the wet intra-oral camera in my mouth. At this point, I was already not feeling comfortable. I then start to look around the room and realize how dirty it was in there. I took pictures of it because I could not believe my eyes. I believe there was no excuse for that room to be that filthy. Especially if they are using the equipments to work on peoples mouths. Then I seen how nasty the instrument tray was and all I could think was, I am not about to get an infection due to their lack of cleanliness. I had to walk out of there. I could not go through the procedure, I had never felt so disappointed with an establishment, as I did here. -Wendy Negrete

I hate going to the dentist but Santa Fe Dental staff made it so pleasant and they were so patient with me and gentle. It was a great experienced I’m looking forward to my next appointment…. Thank you ?

Dr. Muro has been my dentist since moving here in 2010. He has consistently been knowledgeable and professional at every appointment. So happy we found him and didn’t need to look around. I highly recommend Santa Fe Dental. Dr. Muro is the best!
