Dr Rebecca Small is by far the best medical aesthetician I have been to. Her experience, and qualifications are just the start. She assesses exactly what you need with such personal care, and attention to every detail. Most of all she is an artist of your face. I am so delighted with the results, more than I imagined. Her staff are wonderful, the whole practice makes you feel very special. Add to that a fantastic range of treatments and advice on skin care, you couldn’t find better. I highly recommend this practice.

If you’re considering injectables, run, don’t walk, to the office of Dr. Rebecca Small. I’ve been going to her for Botox, fillers and a variety of other treatments for 23 years. Results are always amazing and I’ve always been completely satisfied. Very natural. I don’t go anywhere else! Staff and environment are also top notch! I trust no one else!

Over the past 20+ years I've seen / used a variety of different doctors and nurses located geographically from Santa Cruz to San Francisco (and, that's a lot) for both botox and fillers, and I'm here to tell you that Dr Small is the one for me.

My experiences in the past ranged from having "duck lips" to having been injected with so much product that my face looked swollen / as if I'd been in a boxing match. No more.

Let me begin by saying I'm not a "girly girl". I don't like playing with makeup and hairstyles. That isn't fun for me. I want predictable results, and I don't want to be put into a position to need to reeducate my hair stylists and Aestheticians about what I want my appearance to be like at every single appointment. So, I waited until I'd seen Dr. Small for multiple appointments before writing this review. She, and her staff, have not disappointed.

Dr. Small's credentials and academic affiliations, both past and present, gave me confidence in her technical abilities. My personal opinion is that her job is about being an artist as much, or more, than it is about being technically proficient (although, they obviously go hand-in-hand). Dr. Small is able to "get" what my vision is / how I want to look, which is no small feat in, and of, itself.

You know when you see people who have had bad botox and filler work? I'd rather risk using too little product than to risk looking overdone, and Dr. Small excels at toeing that fine line. That, combined with providing me with useful recommendations and then executing them all very well, equals a perfect relationship.

The staff at RSMD are every bit as wonderful as Dr. Small. Maranda, who manages reception, is fantastic as are Abby, Marissa (sp?), and I'm sure there are ladies I'm sadly omitting...they're all accommodating, professional and kind. No behaving as though you're lucky they can spare their precious time to check you in. There's no "snobby door" at this establishment.

I'll update this review if I ever feel any of the above is no longer true, but I can't imagine that happening. And, I wouldn't have taken the time to compose this review if I didn't think Dr. Small, et al, could benefit others.

If you have TMJ or temporal headaches go see Dr Small!!! After years of pain management, dental and periodontal “fixes”, I’m finally relatively pain free. Extra bonus - Dr. Small, as well as her staff, are amazingly kind and professional. Don’t hesitate to get Botox for your jaw or headaches!

Dr. Small is the most knowledgeable source for Botox injections I’ve ever experienced over 20 years of treatment. I’ve been a client for 3 years and have been extremely happy with natural results from Botox and filler and have also been very pleased with IPL treatments. Dr. Small and her staff are courteous, friendly and very welcoming. They go out of their way to ensure patient satisfaction. 10/10 would recommend this place to a friend, family member, or anyone interested in getting pixel laser treatment done. Dr. Small and her staff are super friendly and know how to make you feel welcomed. As you can see in the before and after photos- the acne scar on the side of my face is completely gone, this took about 3-5 sessions. I couldn’t be more satisfied with my result and experience overall.

Update: I got a liquid rhinoplasty a few weeks ago, it looks so good! Dr. Small did an incredible job, there was no down time, such a quick procedure to improve your profile (bye bump!)

Dr. Small is the absolute best at what she does, from the consultation to the procedures, I felt completely at ease. As for the results, I work with young children, who are VERY honest, and since my visits, they have been extra huggy and tell me how pretty I am everyday! Can’t beat that.

The wonderful ladies in the office are very kind, well informed, and helpful, so if you are thinking about filler or Botox, this is the place.
