As with most people, the dentist is my least favorite place, but Dr. Shahnavaz made the whole experience painless and actually pleasant. My teeth are very sensitive and she was extra careful not to cause me pain, and even offers numbing gel which was great! Most dentists don't care if you are experiencing pain. She is extremely nice, patient and thorough. She took her time with my cleaning and explained everything she was doing. She also has a lot of nice, updated equipment. Unlike most dentists who have their hygienists do most of the work, she did everything which I really appreciated. And her assistant, Alma, is so sweet! Overall I highly recommend going here for your next cleaning.

What an absolute pleasure! Having seen many dentists in my life, Dr. Shahnavaz DDS, was so gentle, while being very thorough about my dental cleaning and overall dental evaluation. She went so far as to suggest a medication for my needs that was over the counter as opposed to a perscription, thereby saving me money.

It is important that I mention Addie, in the front office who has exceptional customer service and always has a “ giant smile” for everyone.

This exceptional dental office Is a rare find. I highly recommend anyone that needs dental support, that they see this office and bring the family.

I have been in the dental/medical field for over 30 years. I would like to share my experiences with this wonderful Doctor. I have needed 3 upper molars to be replaced as a result of losing a bridge. Previous Dentists and Oral Surgeons told me the only solutions was dental implants $5000 a piece, $10,000-$15,000 was not in my budget. During my cleaning she told me she could make me a retainer type appliance for $1,300 and I love it! During the impressions, (many) my jaw was open for awhile, upon completion she massaged my jaw joint and cheek. I've never seen this in my career, what a caring dentist she is!
Should you be looking for a new dentist, Roxana Shahnavaz DDS she's the one!!

There is not a rating high enough for Dr. Shahnavaz...20+. Although this may be excessive but for those who frequent the Dentist from time to time know how important it is not to arrive anxious about how you will feel afterward.
The injections were done in such a way, there was no pain which for me is something very very important.
The detail and patience the Dr. took with me to make sure everything was done expertly at my pace made this the best visit I have ever had, and I have been going to dentists a very long time.
This is my first recommendation,
If you are looking for a highly qualified professional dentist who cares about her patients and goes the distance to make sure you are comfortable receiving treatment, Dr. Shahnawaz is the only one you will ever see again.

Dr. Roxana Shanavas was a new dentist for me this past year. She is super and her staff are all very caring. Having several issues, she takes care of what she cans and refers out what should be done elsewhere. I have sensitive tissue and standard Lidocaine is often not as effective on me as on others. She is very sympathetic to this and switched to another strength immediatly. I highly recommend her, she listens first then acts very professionally.

I had severe pain. It seemed as if every tooth in my mouth hurt. Cold things really set my pain off. Biting into things was excruciating. I thought I had a mouthful of cavities. I take prescription medications that can cause cavities because they reduce saliva. I went to see Dr. Shahnavaz. She told me I had exposed nerve roots and that was causing the pain. She coated them in a bonding agent. That worked great. My pain levels dropped dramatically. I had 2 small cavities and she put fillings in those. They were as pain free as she could make it. She also cleaned my teeth and used a numbing agent because I couldn't tolerate my teeth being touched. Exposed nerve roots cause pain from touch and temperature. I have herniated discs in my back that press on my spinal cord and cause reduced sensation and strength in my hands. I was brushing my teeth too hard because I have difficulty holding a toothbrush and I can't feel how hard I am gripping my toothbrush. I switched to a softer toothbrush as recommended by Dr. Shahnavaz and sensodyne toothpaste, also recommended and try to brush gently as instructed and demonstrated by Dr. Shahnavaz. My teeth no longer hurt to the point of tears and I can eat cold things like ice cream and hard-to-chew things like steak again. My waistline is suffering but I am happy to be eating whatever I want without pain. I have scoliosis and herniated discs in my back. The chairs used for dental work cause me pain. Dr. Shahnavaz was able to add extra pillows to position me without pain. She listens well and I felt like we were a team working to fix the pain in my mouth. I highly recommend her as a dentist.

Dr Roxana Shahnavaz was so nice and thorough with her explanations and showed me what she was talking about with her special tooth camera. Dr Shahnavaz also does her own teeth cleanings. The office is very nice and the staff is great. I would highly recommend her.
