I was new to the area so needed to get established as a new patient, and I’m so thankful I found Rossmoor Dental Group. Everyone in this office is extremely friendly and accommodating. Dr. Cowan has been excellent, as have all the dental and front desk personnel I’ve interacted with. They have all been helpful and reassuring. I can’t recommend this practice enough. You won’t be disappointed with the care you receive here. Ask for Tiffany when you call. She’s awesome and will get you in front of the right team member.

I had a terrible experience with Rossmoor Dental that I would not wish upon anyone. I developed a painful tooth infection and even had to call 911 while I was waiting for the dentist office to open due to the intensity.

I only went there because I was employed at the time nearby at First Team, I drove over to Rossmoor Dental hoping for immediate relief and help. Instead of providing compassionate care, they took advantage of me when I was in a vulnerable, transitional period with my health insurance and coverage.

Instead of addressing my needs directly, Rossmoor Dental sent me to Beach Dental, where I was charged an outrageous $1,847 for a procedure that, when I researched with artificial intelligence tools, should have been around $600. It was nothing short of extortion, and the lack of transparency and empathy left me feeling completely exploited.

To make matters worse, when I returned to Rossmoor Dental to try and resolve the situation amicably, they gaslit me and dismissed my concerns. When I began recording the conversation for my own proof and protection, one of the staff members threatened to call the police on me—as if I was the one in the wrong when they were the ones acting unethically.

Rossmoor Dental's behavior was manipulative, exploitive, and completely unprofessional. I left feeling taken advantage of and financially drained. If you value ethical treatment, transparency, and a respectful environment, avoid Rossmoor Dental at all costs.

My experience with Rossmoor Dental was a nightmare that only added stress and financial strain to an already challenging situation.

These people are con artists. They quoted me $2,500 to get a bunch of work done including a deep cleaning and other procedures. When I went to leave they told me my teeth were going to fall out and that I was going to loose bone mass. I went to another dentist and got all that work done for free with my typical cleaning. Turns out my teeth and gums were perfectly healthy.

I visited this dental office as a new patient and was seen by Dr. Gabrielle Jannotta for routine X-rays and a standard teeth cleaning, which were covered by my insurance. During the visit, Dr. Jannotta briefly examined my teeth and mentioned a potential need for a crown or root canal on a tooth with no current pain. She then suggested a deep cleaning after I mentioned I had one previously, and proceeded to check the depths of my gum pockets. After the check, she told me I required a deep cleaning instead of the regular cleaning, and offered to perform it immediately.

When I declined the deep cleaning and requested just a routine cleaning, Dr. Jannotta agreed but said the front desk would discuss pricing with me. However, after she left, the front desk staff was very persistent about getting me to agree to the deep cleaning on the spot, quoting a price of around $130 for a less involved version compared to the original $500 charge. I explained that I wasn’t prepared to pay for it and might consider it later, but the staff continued pushing the treatment. I was asked to sign documents acknowledging that I was refusing recommended care, and was repeatedly told about the irreversible nature of tooth decay and its connection to overall health.

Finally, my cleaning was performed by another staff member who spent less than five minutes brushing and polishing my teeth before rinsing them. There was no scraping, flossing, or use of mouthwash—standard steps in a typical cleaning. It was the quickest and least thorough cleaning I’ve ever had, especially considering it was billed as a routine cleaning. I left feeling that the office prioritized upselling additional services over providing quality care, and I no longer have access to a routine cleaning through my insurance.

Overall, I found the experience frustrating and felt pressured into unnecessary treatments. I would advise others to be cautious when visiting this office.
