I had a great experience at Rohnert Park Smiles Dentistry! From the moment I walked in, the staff was friendly and welcoming, which immediately put me at ease. Dr. A, my dentist, was excellent—professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely caring about my comfort throughout the entire visit. They took the time to explain everything clearly and answered all my questions, making sure I felt confident in my treatment plan. The office itself is modern and clean, and the overall atmosphere was calm and relaxing. 1st visit. Setting up the anppointment was easy & they took me within a couple of days. Extensive X-ray imaging followed by checkup with Dr Sanchez. Teeth, gums, X-ray review - in good health & all looks good. Gaps measured- lots of 2s& 3s. Ended with cleaning & fluoride treatment by hygienist . Staff & Dr Sanchez were friendly & professional. The appointment took 90 minutes. The only things I didn’t like was filling out the initially very long survey, filling in info for the “chart” app which I have not as yet been impressed with. Overall a good appointment & I would favorably recommend. My next appointment was scheduled 8 months later.

I don’t normally review but I was thoroughly impressed with their tech forward AI powered X-rays, camera system, professionalism and approachability. Dr Rojas was great, to the point, and explained a great plan forward. This was also the first time I’ve had a dentist do a thorough gum exam which I appreciated. I’ve had bad experiences with dentists in SF trying to do fraudulent work so I went in with my guard up, I walked out not needing anything done and an appointment to see them again in 6 months.

This place is pretty bad. They had a rotating cast of dentists during the time I went there. I think I saw someone different almost every time I went and was never clear who I was actually assigned to. The last dentist I met with there told me I needed a ton of periodontal work as well as a root canal, despite having no pain and making no complaints about anything. I went to see the endodontist they referred me to for the root canal who did the intake and was immediately skeptical that I would need a root canal, as I wasn't in pain. She went ahead and did a bunch of scans and tests, then told me my teeth are fine and there was no reason for me to be there. I had a similar experience and received similar advice when I got the second opinion about my gums/suggested periodontal work. When I went back to Smiles after seeing the endodontist they told me the dentist who gave me the bad advice was no longer employed there, and would not be able to get me in to see anyone for over six months from that date, despite the fact that they had told me my situation was dire about the gums and the root canal on the previous visit (would think they'd have some urgency, especially considering the endodontist feedback). Questionable services and ethics. Would strongly recommend seeking dental care somewhere else.

I'm not a big fan of going to the dentist, but today I had a g'zillion star experience at Smiles in Rohnert Park. Dr. Katia Rojas (who has dentistry in her genes - both her mom and dad are dentists) was meticulously thorough, competent, and all round fabulous. Her sidekick, Chelsea Colin, is possibly the very best dental assistant I have ever encountered. Chelsea is kind, caring, knowledgeable and a wonderful communicator. I am grateful to both of them for taking so much time and care to give me a good experience. I won't dread it quite so much next time!
