Top notch care from someone who really does. I've been fortunate to have had Rick as a dentist from the start of his practice. He's always had a congenial approach, with humor and a great smile, of course. I am definitely biased. Rick has supported my work as a visual artist, collecting marine-themed works on paper and canvas since the mid 80's. Visiting his office, like a gallery, is truly a visit with old friends.

Dr. Smith is the best Dentist I have ever had. He is gentle and does excellent work. I love all his staff too. They are all very friendly, and make you feel comfortable to be there. The Doc's choice in music they have on can't be beat too! You'll be tapping your toes, and there is lots of laughter there too 🙂 Best Dentist Ever!!!

Dr. Smith is the best dentist that I have ever been to which is saying alot after the many bad dentists that have treated me. I was in a car accident and had $35K in dental work done by Dr. Schellentrager which was done incorrectly and had to be taken out. I am so thankful that Dr. Smith has been able to properly care for me since. Rick Smith has been a true blessing to me.

Dr Smith is the best dentist I have ever been to. I travel a lot but always get back to Santa Cruz for my checkups. He is kind, funny and very caring. His staff policies must be good as they stay and those who leave for a while go back to him. We always manage to work out affordable prices for my treatments. I really appreciate this man

Dr Smith and his staff are a warm welcoming crew. I visit this office on a regular basis for cleanings and I've also had quite a bit of repair work done. Dr Smith and his staff demonstrate a level of excellence which I have never experienced at other dentist offices. It's actually a pleasure for me to visit my dentist.

Dr. Smith has always been state of art and cutting edge dentist. From the moment you step in the door, I feel welcome and safe, cheerful greetings from the receptionist, friendly and professional dental assistants and hygienists and Dr. Smith has the touch for pain free treatment.

I've been seeing him for about 40 years and am still learning about different things he regularly does, sleep apnea specialist, on call at hospital for emergencies, Invisalign treatment and teaching to mention a few.

He's the best!

Dr Smith has been seeing me for about two years now and I couldn't be happier. This last visit I needed to have a couple teeth crowned. The crowns I had installed 8 years ago from a different dentist disintegrated so Dr smith had to clean up the mess and start with making new crowns. I'm making this sound simple but was a pretty involved process just to get the teeth ready to accept new crowns. The process was quick and painless! I was having dinner with a couple hours too. Highly recommend.
