Dr. Richey and his assistant Gwen are an outstanding team! I am a nervous dental patient and this team provided excellent professional craftmanship with the comfort that made it all comfortable. I have referred friends to this office who travel from Las Vegas to see Dr. Zerbe and are grateful for the excellent care!

Really liked Dr Richey, Janice, then Amanda. Had been with Dr Trout & Alice before that. For many yrs pleased with office & professional services. Once Zerbe affiliated started noticing changes. After he bought out Richey, things really changed. Hiring an extra woman just to do billing caused costs to increase significantly. Procedures were done BEFORE checking to see if insurance covered them. Then when they weren't you got a HUGE bill. For us the last straw was when, half way thru the year, he decided to cancel our insurance, & for us open season for the next yr was 6 mos away so we couldn't just change overnight. & being retired money doesn't grow on trees, extra funds are VERY limited as we aren't PB or Carmel types. The billing woman is very snooty. Our insurance had told us to bill a certain way to get a special service covered. She thought she knew everything & would not listen to how the insurance said to bill so the extra service would be covered by insurance. While the quality of dental care is very good, everything else that makes for a practice that you'd recommend to a friend is terrible. So we no longer recommend the office. We tell our story & tell people who ask about a good dentist to look elsewhere. This is a big change after so many years. But at least we found another dentist with staff who is even better.

I’m giving 5 stars for several reasons, 1st they let me do a large amount of work over half a year without paying because my church was paying for it. 2nd they were very patient with my Dental phobia and over sensitivity to any one touching my teeth. Lastly they were very clear up front with accurate estimates about the cost and let me make payments on the part my church wasn’t paying for. Thank you Dr. Richey

Tried more than once to charge me for something they didn’t do. Said you need a new crown and walked out of the room. Never explained. Second opinion from another dentist found nothing wrong.
