I have used Quiron services for several years and from my point of view, the healthcare service has have deteriorated through the years. I have found that its personnel has increase the bureaucracy, uselessness, and to some extend incompetence. If you are admitted, you will be in the darkness for long period of time until the doctor shows up which can happen until the next day in the afternoon.

Dentist experience (private): 71 eur for a consultation but the doctor haven’t even checked my teeth. Just looked at the radiography I brought and said that now I have to book appointment with a surgeon (obvious: I have tricky wisdom teeth to remove). So no new info and even no check-up for me. Need to say the doctor still seemed nice as a person.

The next consultation is 103 eur. I’m scared to get to know the price of an actual treatment. 🫠 The funniest part is that I have to call the hospital and book second appointment myself. They couldn’t do it for me when I asked.💀 I get that it’s a system that is kinda broken from the very begging, but at least I expect to have my mouth checked and service given.

Another poor thing is that they don’t let you know about the pricing for their services when you book an appointment online on any stage. It’s not transparent enough and might be not even legal. I mentioned it at the register, but got no feedback.

OVERALL: only go if you ready to pay very (!) pricy consultations and costly treatments with a lack of service. You can definitely find a better place for the same or lower price. For me personally the visit came out disappointing so it’s only 1 star.

Horrible customer service and bad practices in Covid times:

1) With an appointment ("cita previa") to get an Antigen test, I still had to wait for an hour in a crowded indoor area (they don't provide info on the expected waiting time)
2) They mix symptomatic patients (derived from the emergency room, "urgencias") and asymptomatic patients (coming for a screening test) in the same testing line!

Disappointing and unprofessional hospital. I won't come back.

Amazing hospital staff, as an Expat and world traveler, I am extremely happy with this hospital. Very efficient on the way they treated me and my family with all our medical needs. I would definitely recommend this hospital to my fellow Expat's and to anyone who wants professional medical care.
