I had my first appointment today and everything went great. The clinic is very clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I did not have to wait long. I have a medical condition which affects my mouth and was getting the runaround by another dentist but after leaving Penn today I feel very confident that they will be able to help me.

Best dental service I have ever had. I had veneers and they gave me a total new mouth with implants. Trent is the best.

Just trash! This dental school is money hungry. And the service is the pits and terrible and they have to you in there for hours for basic services! They need to be shut down!!!!They did my senior parents terribly. The temporary crown fell off multiple times due to the dental students poor job. And had the nerve to charge them each time. The dental students are rarely monitored. Also it makes absolutely no sense to have an appointment at 8am for a cleaning and you don't finish until afternoon. They don't value anyone's times and they are just plain old raggedy

Penn Dental offers free bi-annual cleanings/checkups and reduced costs for surgeries for those with Medicaid. I got my wisdom teeth removed here with anesthesia for 20 dollars. Good doctors, clean space, and good wait times. I felt as relaxed as I could be for a dentist office, and felt listened to. Would highly recommend.

The most painful dental cleaning I have ever had. They kept having to wipe the blood from my teeth to continue working after stabbing my gums and cleaning into what felt like my gum socket. I normally like going to the dentist but my gums are still sore 24 hours later. Also never had just a cleaning take 2 hours before. When they finished, the faculty supervisor came by and told the student he did a great job and I should be given a refresher on dental hygiene because I was bleeding so bad, to which he then gave me a mirror and was giving me a tutorial on how to brush and floss. As someone who is prone to cavities and had no cavities during this appointment I would say my dental hygiene is pretty good. All in all, very traumatizing experience, I was tearing up during the appointment from the pain and I started crying afterwards when someone asked me how it went. I’ve had far better dental care in developing countries. Go anywhere else if you can afford it.

Looks like my last helpful review was removed for exposing this miserable school and the terrible way they treat their students.

So here I am again. PDM is consistently disorganized and poorly run, to the detriment of their students’ mental health AND the quality of dental care offered here.

I would recommend going anywhere else, for dental school OR for dental care.

The student dentists were excellent and patient with my special needs daughter. The overseeing professors were available, attentive, knowledgeable, helpful, amicable, and a great example to the students. We received great dental care there. It was obvious they train their upcoming dentists with knowledge and patient skills. Very pleased.

Recommended by a friend. Glad he did. Had 2 extractions plus implants. Everything went well. Both my assigned student and the dental surgeon were professional and thorough . Great dental care at affordable prices.
