Dr. Trujillo is a very nice, friendly, and professional doctor! I was very worried about the wisdom teeth extraction, since it was my first surgery. But Dr. Trujillo was so professional and patient in answering all my questions, as was the staff. After the surgery, they gave me a blanket and let me rest in a recovery room until the anesthesia wore off, making sure I was okay to go home. The follow-up appointments were also great. Dr. Trujillo and the staff ensured I had fully recovered from the surgery. Definitely recommended!

My wisdom tooth removal experience here was great. Dr. Trujillo and his staff are all very friendly, and I was always seen promptly. I particularly appreciated how in an initial consultation, Dr. Trujillo seemed to really care about what was best for me and offered an alternative to wisdom tooth removal for my particular situation. I later decided to have him remove my wisdom teeth anyways, and my operation went well.

My husband went in for a second opinion after getting his wisdom teeth extracted at another Oral Surgery office in January and experiencing some discomfort after wounds had healed. Within minutes Dr. Trujillo knew what the problem was and how he could help. My husband got a little shot to numb him up and 2 minutes later a remaining piece of wisdom tooth was taken out. Dr. Trujillo is very professional, he removed 2 of my wisdom teeth (top and bottom on the right) in under 30 minutes. After my teeth were out I was provided a blanket in the recovery room and relaxed while coming off the anesthesia. The staff made sure I was comfortable at all times. All staff was very friendly and wore their protective gear, along with following sanitary procedures. He accepted my insurance and gave me a great price. I would recommend Dr. Trujillo to anyone needing their teeth extracted.

Dr Trujillo extracted my sons teeth on short notice. We couldn’t find anyone last minute that would see him to extract his wisdom teeth. He answered my after hours call and told me to come in first thing in the morning. When we arrived we were greeted and filled out our paperwork. We then waited in our car till they texted us to come back up to the office. He was very concerned about Covid, his office had all the correct barriers and staff were wearing their PPEs, covered from head to toe! I felt very confident that we had made the right choice to drive 2 hours to see Dr Trujillo. He worked with our insurance and explained the procedure and answered all our questions and concerns prior to anesthesia. He was very thorough. I then when back to my car as my son was being administered his anesthesia and was put to sleep. Approximately an hour later I got a text that he was ready. He recovered in the recovery room till Dr Trujillo felt he was ready. Prescriptions were given and post operative instructions. Great experience! Great staff! Highly recommend Dr Trujillo. If you need to get your wisdom teen extracted, Dr. Trujillo is the man for the job. Both he and his staff were friendly, efficient and knew what they are doing. They took very good care of me during the operation and they also made sure I knew what to do and expect before and after the procedure. I always confident that I was in skilled and capable hands the whole time. I would recommend this Pearlmax to anyone looking for an oral surgeon in San Diego.

I cannot say enough good things about the care my mother received at Pearlmax Oral Surgery. She broke a front tooth and was told by her general dentist that it needed to be removed and replaced. Since the tooth was in such a highly-visible area, he referred her to Dr. Trujillo for a consultation. I brought her in for her consult and was immediately put to ease by Dr. Trujillo's warmth and good humor. He took a lot of time with us, explaining her options and answering her questions. (She had many!!) We left feeling confident that we were well-educated and in good hands.

Several days later, I brought my mom in for her surgery. As promised in our consult, the procedure was quick. When my mom woke up in recovery, I was allowed back to sit with her. She couldn't believe it was over and she was in no pain. The staff continually checked in on her, making sure she was warm under a large blanket, making sure she wasn't in pain. I don't know how else to describe it other then to say they were all so kind to us both. It's very clear they Dr. Trujillo and the staff genuinely CARE about their patients.

Later that evening, Dr. Trujillo called to check in on my mom, which was greatly appreciated. My mom kept commenting on the service she received at this office.
The surgery went off seamlessly, she healed without incident, and now, 7 months later, she's smiling wide with a beautiful, permanent, new front tooth.

Pearlmax oral surgery is a wonderful office. The Dr. and his staff were on time and very friendly. I would recommend Dr German Trujillo to any of my friends. He pulled all four of my wisdom teeth and i'm healing fast. The Girls in the office were friendly and knowledgeable. I had no problems with my insurance here. Id say ill be back but I hope not. lol Thanks guys
