Wow! First of all the staff here is great! Dr. Rho is blessed at what he does! He is very gentle and precise, talks me through the whole process and ensures that there is no pain and that I am comfortable. He definitely cares about his patients and takes his time to meet my satisfactory and to make sure that I am happy and healthy! He is the best there is out there. Dina is also super sweet and great with her work ethic and personality. You can tell they all love what they do! Definitely recommend it here!

i came for an emergency visit, and i was able to be seen without a long wait. the staff was polite and while i waited to be called i was greeted by a lady named Dina who had a big welcoming smile and a lovely personality. i was taken to do my X-rays and than was seated in the room. Dr. Rho came in and welcomed me as he asked me how i was feeling, what my concerns where and the best solution possible. Dr. Rho was very attentive, caring and made me feel at ease. i was comfortable and i didn't feel any pain. im glad i chose this office! the best there is in Sacramento!

I am extremely disappointed with the service at Park Place Dental Group. My daughter is a patient at this clinic, but our recent experiences have been beyond frustrating and completely unacceptable.

On two occasions, her appointments were canceled without any prior notice. The staff claims they called to inform us, but this is absolutely false—they never called, never left a message, and simply canceled the appointments without letting us know. This lack of communication has caused my daughter to miss school and disrupted our work schedules, all because of their poor management and negligence.

When I try to address the issue, I am told to speak with the manager or person in charge, but they are never available. This lack of accountability and refusal to take responsibility only adds to the frustration. Instead of resolving the problem, they reschedule appointments one or two months later, showing no urgency or genuine concern for my daughter's dental care.

Their excuses, disorganization, and disregard for patients' time and trust are unacceptable. This clinic's behavior has caused unnecessary stress and demonstrates a complete lack of respect for the families they serve.

If you are considering this clinic, I strongly urge you to find another provider who respects your time and genuinely cares about their patients.

I hope this review motivates Park Place Dental Group to take responsibility and improve their practices. No family should have to endure this kind of treatment.

Dr. Rho and Dina are amazing at what they do for my dental care! Dina works as Ef2 and Dr. Rho is my Dr. Dr. Rho genuinely cares about his patients. He listens to my concerns and gives me all options with honest feedback. Ultimately, he cares for all the patients. He is very kind, and skilled at what he does. During my procedure Dr. Rho alongside Dina made me feel comfortable, and the procedure painless and smooth. Explained everything along the way amd kept his communication open during the process. The office staff was very polite as well. Overall great environment and amazing staff! The only place i trust with my dental work! I definitely recommend! If i can give 100 stars i would!

WARNING IF YOU BILL INSURANCE FOR MY VISIT I WILL MAKE COMPLAINTS TO THE STATE. I am sick and tired of this office. THEY DO NOT RESPECT MY TIME, I AM NOT RETIRED, I MAKE AN APPOINTMENT FOR A SERVICE AND EXPECT THAT SERVICE-NOT A DODGE SO THEY CAN BILL FOR TWO APPOINTMENTS. I called to request a deep cleaning- when I get there they tell me “it will just be a consultation visit today”. The last time I went for a deep cleaning they said they would do the whole mouth but refused to do more than half. I feel like the front of this office is a scam every time. Today- four people behind the desk talking- one turns to help me , then answers a phone and I get stuck waiting to be told by someone else I would not receive a cleaning today. Service is dead. Also your robo-response does not convince me you give a damn. It is not my job to fix your problems. If you had any concern for my time I would not have been shoved off into consultation.

I have been a patient at Park Place Dental and Orthodontics for over 15 years, and I can’t say enough about Dr. Rho (my dentist), Dr. Perera (my orthodontist), Dr. Lee (my periodontist), and their incredible, warm, and caring dental assistants. Over the years, I’ve received exceptional care, from routine cleanings to crowns, bridges, tooth bonding, braces, and even tooth lengthening. Dr. Rho and Dr. Perera are both highly skilled and compassionate, and their entire team ensures that every visit is comfortable and welcoming.
I have also entrusted Park Place Dental with the care of my two daughters since they were young. Now grown, they both continue to choose Park Place Dental in their adult lives, having received all their dental work and orthodontic care, including braces, there as well. During a challenging time, Dr. Rho and Dr. Perera, along with their amazing staff, went above and beyond by providing dental work and braces. I can not stop smiling and we always appreciated them for helping to restore my smile and confidence. I am immensely grateful for the outstanding care they provide and highly recommend Park Place Dental and Orthodontics to anyone seeking exceptional dental and orthodontic services delivered with compassion and expertise."

To start, scheduling was a pain. The lady on the phone couldn’t understand the spelling of my street name, even when I phonetically spelt it out. I understand it’s a hard street name but the problem was the attitude she was giving me when I was trying to help. Btw, she didn’t spell it correctly and I had to fix it online.

Second, I show up and the front desk worker tells me it’s going to be $150 for my visit when it was a simple cleaning covered by my insurance. Her reasoning was sound but shouldn’t you reach out prior to the appointment if I’m coming in expecting no payment?

Third, I say okay I’ll pay it/figure it out with my insurance. I go back into the rooms, the guy who did my x ray was the only good part of the appointment. But then, I sit down in the chair, was told the dentist will be in 15 minutes…. I sat there for an hour with not one person coming to check in or give me an update. I have to walk out to the front desk with the bib around my neck asking if I’m going to be seen anytime soon. Dentist shows up 15 minutes later.

Lastly, dentist seemed like a nice guy but immediately tried to upsell me. Ridiculous that I’ve been there for an hour and a half and still haven’t even begun the cleaning. I ended up leaving with nothing as I had to get back to work with nothing to show for it.

All in all, the worst experience I’ve had at a dentist and will never return to this place. Terrible, terrible, terrible.
