The service was professional. The staff were always kind and polite. They made me feel like they was really interested in my health and well being. Some things could have been better. I had to ask for water to take meds.
Overall it was a good experience considering why I was there. The healthcare part was spot on. The doctors made sure I understood what was happening. Good job

Quick MRI, staff was great. It was early in the morning, so no crowds are back to the delays. Elaine was my radiology tech. She was very kind. Quick stick for contrast. MRI’s are always a good nap.

The thing I don't like I was the nurse Dr. Tran has. Some of them are rude and have a attitude. I was there for endoscopy and they pinch me in different areas, they was rude. I just go 1 hr drive for that, and when my procedure done my throat was bleeding and I can't swallow until 4 days later.

This past Tuesday, I went in for a colonoscopy and endoscopy, and I have to give the highest praise to Dr. Sylvia Perez-Hernandez and the entire team at Orlando Health – Horizon West. I didn’t even know this hospital was tucked over there, but from the moment I arrived, I knew I was in the right hands.

From registration to pre-op, every nurse was warm, patient, and clear. They explained each step, checked to make sure I understood, and created a space where I felt seen and cared for. They gave me privacy, answered every question, and honored every concern—especially as I shared some past anxieties from a previous procedure.

My anesthesiologist was incredibly kind and took the time to truly listen. He reassured me that my comfort mattered and went above and beyond to make sure this experience would be different—and it absolutely was.

Then came Dr. Sylvia Perez-Hernandez. Her presence alone is calming. She listened with compassion, addressed every concern, and told me, “Sherry, I’m going to take good care of you today.” Right before I went to sleep, she made sure I could see her face in the room—a small gesture that meant everything. I felt safe, supported, and genuinely cared for.

When I say this doctor is extraordinary, I mean it. Her skill is unmatched, her bedside manner is exceptional, and I woke up with zero side effects. Now I’m simply waiting for my results, but my experience was so smooth that I knew I needed to share it.

If you’re dealing with any gastroenterology issues or need a physician who blends excellence with compassion, look her up. Dr. Silvia Perez-Hernandez isn’t a five-star doctor—she’s a 10 star doctor.

The woman who set up my IV was wonderful. She was able to get a good vein on the first try. She put it in my left hand and it was not in the wrist where it bends. She had it in the perfect position. Thank you so much! Merry Christmas 🎄🎁 and Happy New Year 🎊! Stay safe.

Had no wait in the ER, when it was decided I needed surgery there was a room ready in less than 30 min. Nurses were attentive but also let me have a long stretch of rest overnight. Every request or question was quickly answered. Each person I encountered was positive, friendly and overall helpful. This is our go-to er/hospital, have never had a bad experience. Although I did not have a fireworks viewing room (I was also passed out by then) my room on the 4th floor was roomy and had everything needed.

My name is Matthew. I was on the third floor, I believe room 26, I personally want to thank Grace for all she did for me. She was kind, sensitive, funny, cute, and as much being in the hospital sucks, she was incredibly the best nurse I have ever had in my life. Please if you get this let her know she might have helped save my life. The entire staff was awesome but she really really stood out and it was as an enjoyable experience as you can get in a hospital. I don’t ever want to go back, but if it happens I will request her. If you have to be admitted into a hospital this is it. The staff here is beyond amazing, they explained everything to me in a way that I could understand. I can tell they take pride in their work. Although I was sick they didn't treat me like I was sick meaning their positive energy and encouragement every time was a healing all by itself. Laura, Jan, and Kerri on the 3rd floor were my favorite. Everyone was so pleasant all the doctors even all the cleaning crew was nice. Thank you all!!!!!
