My in office experience has GREAT at each visit - but it seems they have taken on too many clients and it’s become impossible to get an appointment.

I try to book every 6 months and book in advance at my prior appointment, but they couldn’t even accommodate that - soonest available was 8 months out. Today I realized I needed to change my appointment in July - they can’t get me in until next Feb/March - nine months from now. Even though I’m in pain and requested something more urgently, I have to wait nine months for an appointment. I will need to find another provider as this office has clearly taken on too many patients to provide decent care.

I had an emergency situation and they got me in right away - less than an hour. Dr Vaca is amazing - the perfect personality for a dentist; funny, calm and reassuring. Laura, my hygienist, was incredible too. She was super patient and did a thorough job on cleaning out my problem area. Missy at the front desk is always helpful and does what's necessary to guide me regarding the finances since I'm a cash pay patient. Love the staff and service at Oaks Dental Group!

My husband and I relocated to Central California almost 2 years ago now. We had to find a new dentist so I started looking. We decided to give Oaks Dental Group a try based on the reviews from other patients. Both my and I have had 3 cleanings since then and we are both VERY HAPPY with Oaks Dental Group. As soon as you walk a staff member greets you. I waited about 5 minutes before being called in. I have had the pleasure of having Dr. Walter's work on me (I have NEVER used the word pleasure when it came to a dentist before) he is so gentle, he takes his time explaining what he is going to do and answers any questions that I had. His assistant Louise is such a down to earth person and she and Dr. Walter's work GREAT together. All I can say is "WE FOUND OUR NEW DENTAL OFFICE "

My experiences here have been wonderful! The staff is so friendly and knowledgeable. They do a wonderful job with your dental care and dont try to have you do dental work you dont need! I've had that happen elsewhere in the past. I highly recommend Audrey for your cleanings and Dr. Walter's for anything beyond. I haven't been seen by anyone else but I'm sure they're wonderful too. One other thing I love is the text message reminders of your appointments. The front desk staff is very sweet, they get you checked in, checked out and any insurance matters handled promptly. I highly recommend Oaks Dental Group!

Oaks Dental Group did an outstanding job working on my daughter Elizabeth. We drive to Pismo from Orcutt just to see Dr. Walters, he's that good! He made my daughter feel so comfortable. One of the friendliest staffs I have ever worked with at a dental office. Thank you Missy, Nancy and Ady for being so wonderful and to Tina for really knowing what shes doing and taking the time to show how important we are when we walk through the door.

I had not had a check up in quite awhile. They were so wonderful about getting me in quickly. Dr Walters is very patient and took time to answer all of my questions. I do not remember the name of his assistant but she was very kind and patient with me. They were very informative and worked with me on setting up a plan on what a was priority so I did not have to deal with the cost all at once. The office staff is always kind and personable when checking, calling with questions or scheduling appointments. Thanks!
