I had my daughter wisdom teeth pulled and Dr. Malboubi and his staff were very professional and caring every step of the way to make sure the pain was under control and the patient was comfortable. I was not given a complete picture of my periodontal situation, and saved several thousand dollars by getting a second opinion and seeking another local certified periodontist.

First, the way that the doctor described my gum recession was with a lot of urgency that I schedule grafts immediately, and described my out of pocket costs to be over 1000$/tooth. When I asked clarifying questions to try and better understand the costs and procedures I felt a very pressured, as though the doctor was annoyed by my questions and trying to shut down my inquiry. I was VERY polite and patient.

I was told that dental insurance is a scam and that’s “just the way it is”, and also that since the doctor was well regarded it might be a bit more.

After getting a second opinion, the dental codes were broken down for me, and they showed me in network costs, and also reassured me that my gums don’t urgently NEED any of these procedures. They also thought this doctor’s procedure codes were very overkill for what needs to be done. Obviously every doctor is different in their advice but I so much relief after figuring out that my coverage would be so much better at another office, and the procedures would be so much cheaper.

I will say the receptionist was super friendly and I loved her energy

I've been coming here for quite some time now and let me tell you it's a fantastic place to go to when it comes to tooth health. The staff are friendly and very welcoming aswell. Highly recommend, especially if you had enough of generic places like western dental.
