I absolutely would recommend OakBend Physical Therapy of Friendswood to anyone needing rehabilitation. I took my teen daughter there after she tore her ligaments in her ankle. From the first day we walked in, it felt like home. The owner Royce and all of the technicians were so warm and welcoming. Their knowledge of this type of injury and what excercises to do each week helped her heal within a month. This helped her get back to her position as a catcher in softball. They did real time drills in helping to stretch and strengthen her ankle to be able to get back to playing. We enjoyed our time each week going to PT. By the end, they even got some smiles out of her. I will always recommend them for any physical therapy needs.

Best of the best! I started therapy at Oak Bend after another local physical therapy company caused a serious injury (Houston Physician’s PT). Finally, after several months of intense, personalized PT, I have my life back. The difference in the care is night and day. All of the staff are extremely skilled and caring. No cookie cutter plans of care here, just in depth personalized treatment plans.

I came from Colima, Mexico to therapy with Royce Bowman because he was highly recommended to me... I arrived with problems all over my body, with pain in my neck, back, legs, and especially my lower back due to two hernias in the lumbar region, numbers 4 and 5. They said I needed surgery. I couldn't bend over because I got cramps in my legs and sharp pain in my lower back, and I walked hunched over and sideways. I'm leaving happy because with two therapies, I can bend over and walk with a healthy body. They tell me that by following the therapy properly, I can avoid hernia surgery.
Mr. Bowman was very professional in his treatment and very pleasant, as was his entire staff; truly incredible.
Thankful for everything and ready to return again.

Been to the place everyone knows your name? No not Cheer’s but at OakBend Physical Therapy.

The staff are excellent. Joey, Brittney, Becka, Connor, Heather, Mathew, Michael, and Lisa at the front desk are all very welcoming and treat you like your family here. They educate you on your condition while pushing you through the therapy you need to get back to life. It is always a nice welcoming feeling while I’m here in therapy and they all are very attentive and meet all your needs while you’re with them. I can’t thank them all enough for everything they’ve done to get my shoulder back so I can get back to business and back to enjoying things I love to do in life. Thank you all

Fabulous! Love the treatment I am receiving! The therapists know what they are doing. Oakbend is not part of a big conglomerate and I like that. Royce Bowman is the best in town!!!.
I've been his patient for 20 years, and he continues to be outstanding.
I came to him in a wheelchair, with a very grim diagnosis from another doctor who told me I would never walk again. However, when Royce saw me, he reassured me that with proper therapy, I could regain my ability to walk.
Thanks to his expertise and dedication, I’m walking today and enjoying an excellent quality of life.
I have complete trust in Royce, which is why I’m still his patient after all these years.
