Professional Review for NWA Dental Care

I recently had an exceptional experience at NWA Dental Care and cannot recommend them highly enough. I cracked a tooth while sledding with my kids, which left me in significant pain. Unfortunately, my regular dentist was unable to see me, so I reached out to the first dental office my insurance recommended—thankfully, it was NWA Dental Care.

From the moment I called, their team went above and beyond. They managed to get me in within 15 minutes of my call, demonstrating an incredible level of responsiveness and care. Once I arrived, their staff was warm, professional, and attentive.

The team not only provided prompt relief for my tooth pain but also took the time to thoroughly explain my treatment options. They walked me through the procedures, answered all my questions, and ensured I was comfortable and confident in making decisions about my care.

The experience was so positive that I’ve decided to transfer my dental care to NWA Dental Care—not just for me, but for my entire family. Their professionalism, compassion, and attention to detail have truly set them apart.

Short version:

I am not accostomed to this level of care, especially two days before Christmas. What? A follow-up phone call two hours after an office visit as a new patient? I've never heard of such service. "Dr. Mike the Younger" was patient, kind and didn't mind that I was a walk-in. I highly recommend the Drs. McDonald and McDonald of NWA Dental Care for exceptional service and care.

Extended version:

I was in pain two days before Christmas. Significant pain. Upper molars, on a scale of 1-10, were fluctuating between five and seven. As it was close to Christmas, most dental offices in NWA were closed.

I kept calling different offices until Abby answered the phone for Drs. McDonald and McDonald. Abby kindly instructed to me to quickly come to the office. Upon my arrival, she guided me through the paperwork and then Guadelupe asked me to come back to the exam room.

Guadelupe took some x-rays in a kind and efficient manner and said, "Dr. McDonald will see you in a few minutes." It was actually about 30 seconds.

"McDonald the Younger" took his time, gave a thorough exam and then we discussed the results. It appears my problem was a sinus infection, which caused much pain in my upper molars.

Dr. called in a prescription for me and now I am on the mend.

He did not recommend anything drastic, like a root canal or new crown. He didn't ''upsell" for a patient who was in considerable pain.

As stated in the short review above, a follow-up phone call, two hours after my first-time office visit, was a pleasant surprise. "Shocked" is a better word. What service! And 36 hours before Christmas!

I highly recommend Drs. McDonald and McDonald of NWA Dental Care for exceptional service and care.

The entire staff is great. I do have phobia of dentists. Everyone and the environment made me feel at ease. Dr. Mike has taken care of alot of major dental work for me. He has a reassuring calmness about him. While he works he's attentive and knows what he's doing. The massageing chair did also help my anxiousness. I love the fact they do everything there. No outsourcing to endodontist's, he did 2 root canals on my first visit!
Everyone went above and beyond from reception, techs and both Dr's.
Received calls to check on me and if there where any other questions I might have. Everyone is so informative and helpful. So if your looking for a Dental Clinic, this is the place to go. I drive a hour to get there. If I'd move out of the area I would fly in to be seen, that is how much I think and feel about them.

I was drawn to this dental office yes by my dental network but also by their practice of “giving back” with their mission work. With my phone conversations and entering the office I knew it was a great choice. The staff was very friendly, professional and helpful in making me feel comfortable and confident of the dental treatment I was receiving. I’ll be returning soon for more treatments without any reservations or anxiety. Their massage dental chair was a big plus.

The entire staff was absolutely wonderful. I'm from out of state for work, and I had a infected tooth, they didn't hesitate to help me and accept my insurance. He did a emergency root canal late in the afternoon. This is by far the best dentist experience iv ever had. Highly recommend. Thank yall for being kind and helpful.
