I recently had an amazing and successful VBAC at Natividad, and I am beyond grateful for the entire Labor & Delivery and Postpartum teams. From the moment I arrived, every staff member was professional, kind, patient, and truly supportive. They listened to my requests, encouraged me throughout the process, and made me feel safe and cared for the whole way.

After delivery, my stay in the postpartum room was wonderful. The room was fully equipped and comfortable, and the nurses checked on me and my baby frequently. They offered so much warmth, support, and helpful information that made recovery feel smooth and reassuring.

I’m deeply appreciative of the exceptional care I received and would highly recommend Natividad for childbirth. An outstanding experience from start to finish!

I had an excellent experience at Natividad Medical Center. From the moment I arrived, the staff treated me with kindness and professionalism. The nurses helped me right away, assisted me with the paperwork, and made sure I was comfortable throughout my visit. Excellent experience in the ER. Came in on a Thursday morning, received prompt attention, had good explanations from the nurses and doctors about what was happening, saw the specialist I needed before leaving. I was lucky in that they weren’t super busy. totally recommend.

Honestly this is one of the best hospitals I trust I loved the L&D staff they literally save me and my baby thanks to them I’m still here for my baby and pregnant 7 months they actually listen and don’t dismiss the pain as normal in pregnancy they found the problem and got treated right away the surgeon and the OR team we amazing I just love this hospital a lot I was going through a lot and they made the best out of the situation for me the nurses were fantastic as well in L&D Aundrea and Ruby and Fabiola thank you so much for making me as comfortable as you could thank you to the doctors and the surgeon and everyone on the team .

Had to take my daughter her because she had a febrile seizure. The nurse and the doctor took very good care of my daughter. We were let home and the next day the doctor texted us to check in on her and give us some test results. I truly felt like they cared about my daughter and it wasn’t just a get her out like most ER experiences are. If I ever need to take her back to an ER in Monterey County, I will definitely take her back to Natividad.

LABOR AND MATERNITY Brought my daughter in for some testing and Xochiyl E, Maternity Unit Clerk, should definitely not be working here. She cut me off while I was explaining the reason for our visit, demanding that my child answer. I understand giving the patient autonomy but my teenager still needed me to help her through this new process, which was evident by her saying, "I'm not sure" before I even started talking. She continued to be short with me, even when I just asked which medical card she needed from me. Another staff member came over to ask her something and she snapped at her too. A professional who cannot multitask or emotionally regulate should not be employed in the maternity department. Once in the room, the nurse completely ignored me, even my direct questions. Admissions called and the nurse wouldn't let me answer, so my daughter stumbled through answering questions and she made several errors that I couldn't correct.

This place has gotten a million times better since I was a kid. Everyone there seem like they care. Things can definitely take a while in the ER but it actually went by pretty quick for me. I was there for a couple hours but things were addressed and explain to me in detail. I would trust my family and friends to be seen here hands down especially with the staff I was with that day

I delivered both my babies at Natividad. Once in 2023 and the other in 2025. Since the moment I walked in on both occasions I was well taken care of. I would not have been as calm and collected as I was if it weren’t for the nurses assigned to me when I delivered. They were heaven sent. The L&D team is great!
I just went to the ER with my baby and the pediatrician that assessed my baby was very kind and patient in answering our questions.
