My experience after 2 visits - an exam and a filling - has been excellent. They were patient with me being a little late to one of my appointments. Wendy, the receptionist, is always friendly and is skilled at looking up 'street' costs and estimating insurance coverage (yes, as I've discovered over the years, that's a real skill). His street rates are surprisingly reasonable in of themselves and obviously even better with most insurance plans.

I especially appreciate that Dr. Donesky targeted the root of the tooth the with the anesthetic as closely as possible to avoid having an entirely numb mouth.

I have lived in Novato for some times, but had an established relationship with a dentist in SF who was great. But with the pandemic and other changes, I went in to see Dr. Donesky and was very impressed and continue to be impressed. I thought I knew what made a good dentist, but he raised the bar. He is very sensitive to patient comfort and all the procedures I have had have gone very smoothly. His assistant, Tracy, is hilarious and they make the office a place I do not dread going.
