So I recently had another appointment at my favorite dental office, and I just had to share my experience. From the moment I walked in, I was enveloped by a warm and inviting atmosphere that instantly put me at ease. The energy in the office is always upbeat, and it's clear that the staff genuinely cares about their patients.

Getting my teeth taken care of is often perceived as a chore, but here, it feels more like a wellness treat! The dental team is not only highly skilled but also incredibly friendly. They take the time to explain each step of the process, ensuring I feel comfortable and informed throughout the visit. I always leave feeling refreshed and with a bright smile on my face!

One of the things I appreciate most is how safe and trusted I feel in their care. They prioritize patient comfort and hygiene, which is especially important to me. It's reassuring to know I'm in capable hands, and I never have to dread my dental appointments.

I had a fantastic experience at MyDentist Santa Monica! The staff is super friendly, the office is clean and modern, and Dr.Sierra took the time to explain everything clearly. The whole team made me feel comfortable and at ease. Highly recommend for anyone looking for top-notch dental care! Insurance billing is never an issue they are in top of everything !

Childhood experiences, especially negative ones, often follow us into adulthood. So I avoided the dentist as much as possible. I was like that pet when it was time to go to the Vet. You just knew what was going on and refused to get in that car! However, my experience with Dr. Sierra, Loan, Nancy and Linh have made my visits much better and have calmed my anxiety about getting "work done". Dr. Sierra's caring demeanor, knowledge and quality have made my lying face up, mouth numbing adventure into one that I look forward to in getting me right. Believe me there is a huge compliment in there. To know where I have come from to where I have evolved to (still evolving), I can truly thank Dr. Sierra and Loan for taking good care of me. I may not have perfect teeth, through my own fault, but your attention, dedication and guidance lets me know that I'm getting better one step at a time.

Unprofessional and DO NOT recommend!
I initially had billing issues with this dental office. I have two dental insurance policies, and the office received double payments. However, they refused to refund the extra amount and kept incorrectly insisting that my primary insurance was actually my secondary. I knew this was wrong because both another dental practice and my insurance company confirmed otherwise. Linh said that she had called my insurance twice and got the same response, so I went to the office in person and had her call while I was there. It turned out she was mistaken, yet she didn’t apologize. I gave two stars because they eventually refunded me, but the whole process was so frustrating. Their billing explanations were often unclear. They once charged $35 for a cleaning, initially claiming it was a deductible, but my insurance statement showed $0. Later, they explained it was for a procedure not covered by insurance. Despite the billing issues, I was willing to stay if the dental care was good. However, during my last visit, the dentist said I needed eight cavities filled and one crown. Shocked, I sought a second opinion from another dentist who told me they were fine. That was when I realized it was time to leave.

The staff is always the very courteous and welcoming. I've come a long way from my first visit and have taken many turns for the better regarding my dental hygiene because of the office.
Dr. Olivera fixed this impossible chip I had on my front tooth and I'm very grateful for her professionalism.

I LOVE Dr. Oliveira’s office! By far the best dentist I’ve ever been to. Everyone in the office is so kind, and makes sure you are comfortable throughout your visit. Plus, they are very transparent about what is / or isn’t covered through insurance which I find helpful. Bonus: the office is beautiful and very clean. I truly look forward to my cleanings and have recommended multiple of my own family members here.

I have been going to MyDentist Santa Monica for the last six months, and it has been nothing short of amazing. I've had a lot of dental work to do and had been putting it off because I was worried about finding a new dentist I could trust.

During my previous experiences at dental offices, I encountered inconsistency in billing, discomfort during treatment, negative reactions when I asked to be more gentle, and a lack of honesty about necessary dental work, leaving me skeptical about visiting dentists. I was scared to go to the dentist ever again.

I was referred to Dr. Oliveira at MyDentist, and it's now the only place I ever want to go for my dental care. I never thought it was possible to leave a dentist's office in a good mood, but that's what happens every time I go. Every visit with Dr. Oliveira and her team has been communicative; they check in with how I'm doing during treatment, they're gentle, they adjust if there's something I need to be different, and they go slowly. The office is clean and has a comfortable atmosphere, making the whole experience feel supportive. I'm able to go in, sit down, and relax, knowing I'm in good hands, and it makes each visit fly by.

I'm almost done now with the long list of dental work I needed, and I would not have been able to get through all of this if it weren't for them. I'm grateful to have found exactly what I needed in a dentist. I would recommend everyone to experience the most pleasant trip to the dentist possible by visiting MyDentist Santa Monica.

This is my best dentist experience I've ever had, and continue to have and that's why I've now recommended Dr. Oliveira to friends, work colleagues and family. Her office is located in a great part of town, easily accessible and lots of parking all around. On top of it, her staff is so lovely and professional and highly skilled. Her office has even helped me sort out insurance options for my desired dental health goals. If your looking for a doctor that is extremely knowledgeable, current with the latest and best dental information and who shows up like a human when she interacts with you - you've found it, it's Dr.Olievera and her staff.
