My family and I had to find a new dentist due to a change in insurance. I found Dr. Mikkelsen through my new dental insurance carrier and couldn't be happier. I had my first visit today! Everyone was very friendly, and the facility is clean and bright. The Hygienist was excellent. She was friendly, thorough, and explained things as she went along. Dr. Mikkelsen was also thorough, took the time to review my chart and X-rays, and was happy to answer my questions. I didn't feel like they were rushing or trying to get me out of there in time to see the next patient. Highly recommend!

I thought Dr. Mikkelson was a great dentist. Until I moved out of the area and went to a new dentist who showed me all 7 silver fillings Dr. Mikkelson removed and replaced with a white filling were coming loose. The X-rays showed the fillings Dr. Mikkelson performed spilled over my actual tooth making flossing extremely difficult. All have to be redone and Dr. Mikkelson won’t refund any of the money I paid. Now I’m off to the Board of Dentistry to make additional complaints.

I went in for the first time today after probably a decade. I was honest about my anxieties and every person from the receptionist, to the hygienist, to the dentist himself was so kind and reassuring. I can honestly say this is the best dental experience I have ever had and I feel great about going back!

Went to Dr. Mikkelsen a couple of months ago. Beautiful office, wonderful staff and Dr. Mikkelsen was fantastic. He had to give me a shot of Novicane, and I would say without a doubt it was the least painful with the best numbing results I had ever had. Simply wonderful!
