I did not have a great experience here. I feel like I never got the communication I needed. I am pregnant with my first baby. Dr. Lagrow was nice but I feel like the staff up front was not that great. I transferred care at 28 weeks due to a move and I brought all my physical records in. They never scanned any of my records and the doctor went through my papers literally right in front of me. I feel like skimming my records isn’t ideal as there is a lot that could be missed. Plus they never scanned them in at all so they couldn’t look back at them. I scheduled out further appointments and they never talked about a growth scan which was important since I had a different type of umbilical cord that could cause concern for fetal growth. Maybe they had it scheduled but never told me. Either way they should communicate more. I got my blood work and glucose test done there and it seemed some of my results were lower than average. I called for 2 weeks (exactly called 4 times to go over my results with my doctor cause I was concerned.) never got a call back. They kept saying the doctor did not receive my results yet but I got them on my portal 2 days after the glucose test so explain how I have my results but my doctor doesn’t? I get he’s probably busy but I shouldn’t have to call 4 times to try to understand my blood work when a nurse could easily look at it and probably tell me what it says and recommend something for me. I don’t understand why the doctor needed to be the one specifically to tell me I had low iron. I also asked my doctor when I could see my baby on ultrasound again since I haven’t seen her wiggle on a screen for 10 weeks. He said when he is feeling nice which I’m sure he was joking, but as a first time mom it’s not the answer I wanted. I transferred care to Providence hospital in Medford and feel way more understood, communicate to, and heard. My first appointment my doctor did an ultrasound for 10 minutes so I could admire my baby girl. That’s how care should be for patients.

My first visit to the ER with a knee injury which eventually lead to total knee replacement surgery, was exemplary. From the front desk to the nurs to the surgeon and everyone inbetween. ER made me feel at ease and confident in this great hospital. Surgery was an intimidating thought until I showed up the day of the surgery this place was like a well. Oiled machine, all business start to finish I wasn't afraid once. As for the surgeon I am in awe. He is a rockstar in my book.

Each staff member has always so helpful plus when I call to ask a question or for an appointment/message, they are so patient with me. That means so much to me as I was diagnosed 8 years ago last month with Younger Onset Alzheimer’s. I truly feel at home with each individual and Dr Caleb Newton is literally the best Dr I’ve had ( and I’ve had a lot ). He’s patient, empathetic, professional and problem solving with me as I’m a retired RN with a lot of medical issues.

While on vacation in October I got ill with something respiratory. I initially went to a provider in OR who said I had a cold and to use OTC meds. I continued to feel worse. I ended up at this ER feeling miserable! Turned out I had a sinus infection, received an antibiotic and recommendation for an OTC med. The entire staff, from reception to Dr Parker were excellent! They were professional, engaging and knowledgeable. I truly wish all ER staff were modeled after these professionals. Thank You!!

My family received care here after being exceptionally disappointed by Selah Woman's Health in Redding, CA. We drove an extra hour to deliver our child in Mt. Shasta. The whole team is exceptional, and the level of care one receives from the Nurses and Doctors is without compare. I have not been so impressed by an organization in many years, and would recommend this hospital to anyone. It's worth the drive.

My cousin was treated in the ER. Was taken care of promptly. Appropriate tests were ordered and administered. A serious condition was identified. My cousin was airlifted to another hospital where proper diagnosis and treatment could be administered. They did an excellent job.

On 9/14/25 I had an accidental fall while away from home in Weed, CA, severing half of my thumb and received a laceration to my scalp. I was transported to this facility where I was promptly treated by its ER staff. They were kind, attentive and did all they could to assist me and see to it that I got all the help they could provide me. Excellent facility and staff, very caring.
