I was visiting Del Mar this week on vacation and unexpectedly an old filling fell out. Immediately I had pain and needed an emergency dental visit. Dr. McDonald, a dental hygienist, and his office assistant stayed fit me in without an appointment. It was very late on Friday and they could have just recommended I go elsewhere. Instead they stayed behind and made sure I got the care I needed. Not only did he get my tooth fixed correctly, he did it painlessly, and ensured the alignment was exact. I would recommend Dr. McDonald’s practice to anybody. Great care!

I've been going to Dr. McDonald for over a year and it is always a great experience. He makes it fun and comfortable while still being professional. When Maggie cleans my teeth it's like hanging out with an old friend. I actually look forward to going to the dentist!

I had one billing issue that was an honest mistake. The way Dr. McDonald resolved it was more than fair and left me very satisfied. Mistakes happen, but how they are handled says a lot about an organization.

Love! Wonderful dentist and entire staff. When I came over I transferred in from another dentist who was so out of date. Nice guy and great team as well, but not the latest and greatest equipment. Not so with Matt. His makes it very easy process all around and you can tell that the culture is very strong. All of their expertise is much appreciated. My teeth have never been better.

I cannot express how grateful I am for Dr Mcdonald! I recently had some dental work done at a different dentist here in Vista and was left with a terrible experience from the front office to the Dr himself. I had a temp crown installed and was sent home because the Dentist who does root canals is only there 2 days out of the month. Fast forward 2 weeks and I'm in complete pain and the temp had fallen off. I called Dr. Mcdonald and he had me come in right away. Keep in mind this was after hours on a weekday. Within a short while of getting there I was numbed up and in his chair having a root canal started. It was completely painless and it was obvious that Matt is a true professional. He's easy to talk to and extremely knowledgable, and it made my nightmare of a previous dentist experience seem a far distant memory. It's refreshing to know that I have found a dentist that I can trust and that has my best interest in mind. I'll be making appointments for my wife and kids as well as recommending his services from here on out. Thanks Dr!

First appointment here, really like this office. They are objective and personable when it comes to your dental care and do not recommend unecessary treatment. More modern technology than my previous dentist, which helped with accurate diagnoses. Hygienist and front staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Very satisfied with my choice.

An all-around wonderful experience! From the front desk to the hygienist to the assistant and then Dr. McDonald... everyone was extremely kind, very professional and thorough. I really enjoyed how transparent the staff was while working through their work as it made me comfortable and put me at ease. Great experience!

Dr. McDonald put a crown in for me and less than two and half years later it broke. My insurance will not cover a replacement because they should last 5-15 years. Spend your money elsewhere.
