I've been coming here for years and I can't believe that I never posted a review.
The staff here are AWESOME! Everytime I come here, I get treated like family. The environment is warm, welcoming, and chill. This environment is perfect for anyone who has anxiety when it comes to seeing the dentist (like myself).
The staff and doctors are down to earth and truly care about the care you receive.

If I could give them 10 stars I would. I love these guys!!!

Thursday was my 1st visit. What a great experience it was. Front office staff warm and welcoming, Dr Amezcua, and hygentist Esmeralda were very kind, explained the treatment plan, cleaned my teeth, and I was on my way. Very efficient team. 🙂

I've been a loyal customer for over ten years, but unfortunately, I've witnessed a significant decline in service quality. If I could give them a 1-star rating, I would. After numerous issues, I’ve decided to part ways with them as of today.

Last month, I scheduled my usual tailored cleaning, only to arrive at the office and find that I was scheduled for an appointment with the doctor and exams instead. I informed them that I didn't have time for both, so I opted out of the cleaning. The cleaning was rescheduled for today, but when I arrived, they told me I was now scheduled for a deep cleaning. This was not communicated to me beforehand, and they refused to perform the standard cleaning, stating that the deep cleaning was necessary. While I don't mind the deep cleaning, that's not what I had planned for. On both occasions, I left work with limited time, and their lack of consideration and professionalism was disappointing. The front staff was unapologetic and unprofessional.

I should have left when the doctor previously informed me I needed a root canal, then later said I didn't, only to change the recommendation again. I stayed because I appreciated my hygienist, but she has since left, and now I understand why. The high turnover rate is apparent, as I see different staff members at every visit. It’s clear that things are not what they used to be, and I can no longer trust this practice with my care.

Dr. Amezcua performed proficiently and his assistant Jaylin was extremely professional and effective. I was in and out in maybe 30-45 mins max. I was also visited by another knowledgeable assistant, Yajaira, who gave me a supplementary evaluation on a broader scope of the improvements I could make which was both considerate and impactful. Truly a wonderful team, I almost felt as if I were being taken care of by family. 10/10 would break another tooth just to be treated here again.

Dr. tried to up sale me on deep cleaning and scaling. I have a Delta Dental HMO policy through Kaiser which I understand doesn't pay much. I wanted to schedule a dental exam with cleaning but the cleaning had to wait until the exam. Office staff is efficient and friendly. Angie, the person who took my x-rays was excellent and practiced the most robust infection control protocals I have seen. Dr. America did a thorough exam and informed me that I have periodontal disease and needed a "deep cleaning with scaling". He then left the room and the next person in was the biller to explain my copay. I was never asked about my dental hygiene habits nor was this procedure explained. I then emailed Dr. America about this unexpected diagnosis and recommended invasive treatment and received no reply. I checked in with my regular, out of town dentist and he didn't recommend this procedure. Guess I will have to continue to pay cash for dental care I trust
