I had a very disappointing experience at Dr. Levi's office, and I feel compelled to share my concerns.
I first visited Dr. Levi's office in May 2024. The appointment began well, with Dr. Levi complimenting the cleanliness and appearance of my teeth. However, by the end of the visit, she told me I had four cavities and suggested I needed a mouth guard and Invisalign. Trusting her professional opinion, I agreed to proceed with filling the cavities.
At the follow-up appointment just a week later, she drilled the four cavities as planned. However, during the procedure, she suddenly claimed to have discovered another cavity—without any prior mention or evidence. I was not informed about this additional procedure until I received the bill afterward.
To make matters worse, after drilling, Dr. Levi left me unattended for about 20 minutes. It was only when a hygienist informed me I was "good to go" that I realized my cavities hadn’t even been filled yet. Dr. Levi eventually returned, apologized, and finished the fillings. During this time, she also tried to upsell me on Invisalign and a mouth guard, mentioning a "limited-time discount" from $5,000 to $3,500 because Invisalign representatives happened to be in the office that day.
After the appointment, I requested my dental records and X-rays to verify the necessity of the procedures. It took five calls over several weeks—and a legal threat—before the office finally sent them, claiming they were "too busy" despite actively advertising for new patients.
I visited my trusted dentist on the East Coast in November 2024, who performed a full panel of X-rays and confirmed that I had no cavities, either during my November 2023 visit with him or at the time of Dr. Levi's diagnosis. This confirmed my suspicion that the procedures at Dr. Levi's office were unnecessary, costing me $450 for services I did not need.
Since the unnecessary drilling, I have experienced ongoing sensitivity and discomfort while eating.
I strongly encourage anyone considering Dr. Levi's practice to seek a second opinion before agreeing to any treatment. It is unacceptable for a healthcare provider to exploit patients' trust, and my experience has left me questioning the ethics of this practice.

The front desk was super inviting and nice, but the rest of the staff was extremely rude and judgmental. In fact they rushed me from one chair to the next playing musical chairs throughout the whole process. They made fun of my inflamed gums and said, “tell me your whole dental routine so I can tell my patients too” in an extremely sarcastic and rude tone. When I got my teeth cleaned, I was laughed at and ridiculed during the entire process. The dentist herself walked around talking about suggestions for my follow up, being loud and breaking hippa violations giving my name while instructing her staff what I need and what she recommends. Also, the office doesn’t have doors and your cleaning is an open room off the lobby. Zero privacy here. Absolutely insane practice.

Every. single. staff. member. said. I. needed. invisalign.

Whether or not I do, I don’t need everyone jumping down my throat, I just need the dentist’s recommendation (if anything).

On top of that, they didn’t even ask if I wanted fluoride, the easiest upsell in any dental cleaning but the hygienist wanted to leave asap as I was her last appointment of the day.

Will not return, no matter who reaches out to me personally.

While the cleaning itself was good, would encourage both the doctor and admin staff to work on their inside voices and ensuring patients have privacy. People were yelling with their personal cell phones on speaker, walking in and out of the hygienist section which already has very little privacy. Shouting about various phone calls and printing issues. It’s very loud and distracting when you’re trying to concentrate on your procedure.

My experience with dentist Roya Levi was an absolute nightmare from start to finish. I was in dire need of two root canals, and based on the glowing reviews (which I now realize must have been fake), I decided to give this place a shot. Big mistake.

First off, the work they did was excruciatingly painful. I felt like I was being tortured in that chair, and I left each appointment feeling more uncomfortable than when I arrived. But the real kicker? The cost. They presented me with an estimate that I foolishly approved, only to be hit with a bill that was double what they originally quoted me. They blamed it on my insurance, constantly making excuses and insisting that I pay upfront. And guess what? My insurance never reimbursed me as promised.

I ended up shelling out over $8000 to this place, thinking it was worth it for the sake of my dental health. But boy, was I wrong. I eventually had to seek help from another dentist, who discovered that the root canals done by Roya Levi were a shoddy job. I had to pay even more to fix their mistakes.

And just when I thought it couldn't get any worse, I received a random $300 bill in the mail six months later, with no explanation whatsoever. It's like they're trying to squeeze every last penny out of me.

Save yourself the pain and the money. Avoid this place like the plague. It's clear from reading other people's reviews that I'm not the only one who got duped. There are plenty of honest and competent dentists out there – do yourself a favor and steer clear of Roya Levi and her team.

My husband and I love this office. The doctor and staff are incredibly knowledgeable and kind. Dentistry can be spooky but I’m never scared when I go in for treatment because I trust them. They’re excellent at what they do and very attentive to your needs. Also, they’re fast. They are swift and deft in they’re procedures and I’m not left waiting in the chair long enough to get nervous. I am a retired dental professional and I can’t recommend this office highly enough.

I used to have a debilitating fear of the dentist but Dr Levi has been unbelievably helpful with getting me the care I need without feeling scared. I had a few bad experiences with dentists when I was younger which lead me to avoid dentists for almost 10 years. She helped get my dental care back on track and did it without making me feel bad or scared. She has given me the confidence to feel like I can go to the dentist when I need to and take proper care of my teeth. Dr Levi is the best dentist I’ve ever gone to and I cannot recommend her enough. Her entire team is LOVELY. The front desk makes you feel welcome and all of her dental staff are highly qualified and make me feel very taken care of whenever I come in. They always remember me and have been so so sweet and really care to get to know me. Her dental hygienist has never nicked me or hurt me once! My girlfriend and I both see Dr Levi’s office and we firmly believe she is the best dentist in LA. <3

I highly recommend Main Street Dentistry! I always have a very positive experience during my visits. The staff is so helpful, whether it's a routine cleaning or the Invisalign process. Everyone is friendly and helpful for any dental needs.

The staff treat you like family. They are so kind and friendly and knowledgeable. The dental hygienists and assistants are patient and sensitive and calming. Dr. Levy is very skilled and very good with patients like me that are always anxious. She is kind and understanding, and takes time for her work, and never rushes the procedures.
