Let me start out that I have been going to Dr. Pouresmail for 6 years. He was referred by my dentist (which I went to for 22 years and trusted him 100%) for any advice or referrel
. I have always been treated with kindness and with sincere concern about my dental issues. Just like with any business you will run into a receptionist or anyone that works with public that has had a bad day; just like all of us do. Dr. Pouresmail office is VERY professional to the point I had to break the "ice". Culture has a lot to do with personality as well. Do some research on the culture of Iranians. After that you will understand their bedside manner; so to speak. Now for the implants they are perfect and yep I had one come off; but more than likely it was my fault. One call and it was when can you come in? Were the implants expensive of course they were; that's because 99% of insurance companies won't pay for them. In fact I am just about to call today because I think I have TMJ.

I was charged $802.40 for a root canal after deductions by Delta Dental, my insurance co., and paid it in full. Eleven months later I received a letter from Paso Robles Endodontics (M. Pouresmail’s office) claiming that I still owed $419.20, and threatened to send the account to collections if I didn’t pay up in the next 15 days. I ended up filing a complaint with Delta Dental and this dentist went ahead and sent the file under review to collections. Long story short, Delta Dental reviewed the case and couldn’t find any documentation to justify the surcharges. Here’s the kicker: Delta Dental found that I was even overcharged $29.80 for the actual procedure! It took both Delta Dental and a personal attorney to get the measly $29.80 back from this dentist and to have him withdraw his claim from collections. I’m obviously not going to be having anything to do with him in the future, and hope no one else has to endure the agony that I've gone through.

The denist is condescending.
He has a superiority complex and charges accordingly.
For me, when a doctor requires signatures on documents related to lawyers & accountants, I feel the focus of their work is on money and I feel cheated from medical care.
At this office, 1 out of 5 documents were related to medical treatment.

Dr. Pouresmail is highly recommended by other dentists and my dentist said that is where he goes when he needs an endodontist. He did an implant for me and I have been very pleased with the results.

The WORST place I've ever had the displeasure of visiting!!!!! They did some of the best quality dental work but the staff was the rudest I've ever experienced. It was appalling! They whispered rudely about their patients and i was ignored at the front desk while they we're doing it! One of them even looked at me a few times while she was whispering and continued to ignore me!!! They gave me attitude when I would talk or ask questions and did not make me feel comfortable whatsoever. Overall it was the worst experience I've ever had as far as customer service goes.
