Long Beach Dental Group is truly a gem, and Dr. Papadopoulos deserves every bit of praise for his incredible expertise and gentle approach. I’d heard the term "golden hands" used to describe him, and now I completely understand why! From start to finish, he makes you feel like you’re in the best hands, showing incredible attention to detail and making sure you’re comfortable and informed every step of the way.

I usually feel nervous about dental work, but Dr. Papadopoulos has a way of calming your nerves with his kindness and genuine care. He’s patient, thorough, and takes his time to get everything just right – you can tell he’s committed to achieving the best possible outcome for each patient. The entire staff at Long Beach Dental Group is friendly, professional, and welcoming, making every visit a great experience.

Excessive wait time. I had an appointment at 2 p.m. for a regular check up and I didnt leave until 6:30 p.m. Honestly, it was a waste of 4.5 hours of my day. I didn’t even get my teeth cleaned. They need to better managed their time where patients are waiting on the chair for so long as the dentist goes chair by chair. He can’t focus on too many people at a time.

Terrible experience, all they did was try to upcharge me for any service they could think of. They claimed I needed my teeth pulled and replaced with implants that would cost $8500+... so I went for a second opinion at a different practice and they said LBDG was absurd.

CHECK THIS OUT. First of all, about out to Crystal & Mickey and the entire office for their stellar service! I came to this office with an emergency dental situation. I was very stressed and not exemplifying the greatest attitude. It took three visits to process my situation. On the second visit I was the most dissatisfied and difficult. They anticipated and resolved every issue before it came up and treated me with the most patience and kindness I could imagine. The end result was one that was extremely satisfying. But it was the service during a difficult time I remember most. AND my dog got to be on my lap during my procedure which was author. They are hidden in plain sight and a neighborhood treasure.

I would love to love my dentist, really !
The office was bright and clean, as well as the equipment.
This is my second visit , for a routing dental cleaning. I was happy the first time. They did a good job, I thought , despite some marketing pressure.
The dentist I saw yesterday went through my cleaning like he was ready to go home. He spent about 10 min max on my choppers and left without a word ! Being 70 YO and going through so many dental cleanning, I know a good cleaning would take at least 20 min. The dental assistant I got last time did a more thorough job than he. Unlike previous time, I felt nothing, no pain as a good cleaning would do.
I have Medicare HMO dental and I know most dentists prefer patients to have PPO. That is not my choice but Medicare dental doesn't offer it. I am a retired medical professional with over 30 years of practice. I have cared of all patients, HMO and PPO alike and I have never saw them other than my patients. I have treated them equally and with utmost care. I have a great respect for health care professionals because I was one myself. I was disappointed with my dentist I saw yesterday.
The staff is well coordinated but there was no sense of warmth .
HMO patients deserve some TLC also...and to be treated with respect.
