If all LVI has to offer is computers and fixed orthotics...than I would recommend NO body should ever go here or be treated by one of their dentists. Notice that all of the good reviews are comprised of other dentists, this is for good reason. LVI is a get- rich- quick scheme for dental "professionals". Just because they have a badge next to their name does not make them qualified, it just means they took some classes to ensure that their practice will make more money. I was treated by Dr. Serra, who teaches for LVI, and my entire experience was appalling. All I needed was proper occlusion then crowns once that was found. Instead, I am put in orthotics 3 separate times, which caused even further pain. Huge temps were put in, that didn't even fit my mouth or face....and then permanent crowns were ordered before any stable bite was even found. I was charged $3, 850 for the orthotic, then paid $25k in advance that was to cover everything necessary for restoration of upper arch. It has been problem after problem. I was told "I will take you to Vegas if I have to", and "we are in this together", and the one phrase repeated several times of "we are close"....which we were not. Dr. Serra's treatment failed miserably, and will not refund any money. I have much more to say, but I will let the Federal Consumer Agency do the talking from now on. I offered to just go away, he just needed to refund the money so that I wouldn't go bankrupt and would give me a chance to really get fixed and eat solid food for the first time in almost 3 years. Instead, he stands by his work. The work he did without going through any of my previous files and without considering my health history. This place and Dr. Serra are all about reputation and money. Since I no longer have money, I will do whatever I can to make sure that others are warned about the way this institution works, the way Dr. Serra abandoned, poorly planned, poorly treated his patient who he said was his "friend", and pray to God that this gets exposed the way it needs to. If Bill Dickerson is reading this.....did Dr. Serra talk to you and send my case to you at all? He claims he has been for the last 6 months.....I'm sure he probably alerted you to the possible legal ramifications of his "care" though...I'm betting on that.

this is the future...the rest of the Dental world is stuck in old paradigms...as least as far as occlusion and TMJ. This is the New generation of dentistry....it is not just a cosmetic institute...far from it...it is a way to practice holistic, life changing dentistry. Neuromuscular Dentistry cures improper form and function....it creates proper airway...
