Was here recently for a mostly standard exam/cleaning/etc, and had a great experience! The front office staff were cordial and helpful and the dental technician who helped me was an absolute dear - very friendly and thorough. Dr. Ryu was to the point with her assessment, while not unkind. I'm very thankful for everyone's service, undoubtedly my chompers are too :). I definitely wouldn't hesitate to recommend!

Dr. Ryu is the best dentist I have been to in Humboldt County! Much better than the two others I visited during the last few years. Dr. Ryu's attention to detail, great communication, and friendly manner make me feel comfortable and safe being in her care. It has been 5 Years since Dr. Ryu saved my lower front teeth by rebuilding the lower and upper. Most dentists would have gone with the porcelain fused to metal but Dr. Ryu took the extra time and patience to make full use of porcelain. My smile looks as good now as then. No black metal lines! Thank you Dr. Ryu!
Very competent and talented. Her first concern is patient comfort. If any pain is noted the procedure is stopped until pain is controlled. Her results are excellent! Personable and friendly.

I was nervous about getting my first root canal. I had some bad experiences with fillings at other dentists. Plus, the nerve of the infected tooth was curved, so I thought an endodontist would be needed. I was especially apprehensive because Dr. Ryu didn't offer nitric oxide for pain - but it wasn't needed! The procedure went smoothly and only took about an hour. The most painful part of the procedure was getting a few tiny shots in my gums. I've had fillings that were way more painful! Dr. Ryu and her colleagues were very kind, calming and skilled. I'm really glad I came to her.

This office called me multiple times and hung up. When I called back to ask why they were calling me the receptionist got snippy with me. I was trying to figure out why they were calling as I have my own upcoming dental appointment in another county. The receptionist told me to "get a life". Wow, that's great customer service when you call the wrong number. Then a few minutes later my phone rings again, I answer and it's a hang up and the number was from Eureka. Coincidence? The number ends in 5855. I don't know if the dentist is good but the receptionist could sure use some customer service training.
