As a new patient, I really appreciated how Dr Efner really went the extra mile with her evaluation of my teeth, as she talked me through a PowerPoint presentation about my dental health based on X-rays and photographs and holistically with my overall health. She was very skilled and attentive of my needs when I had a filling and wisdom tooth extraction which came out quickly. Her staff are pleasant and her office is clean and inviting. I highly recommend her to other Ventura County residents.

Dr. Efner and the staff at Serene Dentistry are such wonderful people. From the moment you walk in the door you feel both welcome and relaxed at the same time. Dr. Efner made sure she spent time answering all of my questions and I never felt rushed as though she had to get to another patient. She is kind, warm, very skilled and is very conscientious. I have been taking an antibiotic for several months that resulted in a black stain on my teeth. Dr Efner did a very good job cleaning the stain off my teeth. She is very thorough asking about general health issues which can affect teeth. I have been pleased with general overall treatment by Dr Efner and her staff. I recommend SERENE DENTISTRY.

HEAR YE…HEAR YE…I have found the perfect practice for dental care! All of the ladies are exquisitely kind, cheerful, funny, and utmost professionals. Dr. Efner is definitely as wonderful as I have been told. Not that I actually look forward to being in “the chair”, but I certainly don’t dread it in any way. The big search is now complete.

Very professional staff and so far one of the best dentists in the area! I’ve been experiencing pain from a temporary crown and permanent filling I recently got done at a different office and Lori (the front desk agent) was able to schedule me in pretty much the next day! Upon arrival, I was welcomed and attended to right away. Mika (doctor's assistant) was quick and friendly with a sharp and positive attitude. She walked me through each step and made sure that I feel comfortable and have everything I need. The doctor recommended a few options for my filling, one being seen by an endodontist to whom Lori assisted me with scheduling a time. In addition, she mentioned that I have one more free cleaning left this year (which another dentist I went to did not keep track of those visits and is the reason why I’m also looking for a better dentist). Overall, very nice dentist, everyone is so nice and goes above and beyond!! Highly recommend it.
